We can not take dogs that have shown aggression or who have a bite history. Rehoming fee $400

We are in dire need of a Foster for a neglected and abandoned female Mastiff that was left chained to a fence with another dog when the owners moved. She is severely underweight. We are not sure if she has ever been in a home before. The other dog was a Rotty that was rushed to the hospital due to chain collar embedded in it;s neck. Currently located in Yakima Wa. Look at this sweet guy! This is Baxter. He is a 6-7 yo Cane Corso that is URD on shots, neutered, housebroken, kennel trained, and leash trained. He is good with other dogs and kids. No cats. He is pretty mellow and is content just being near his people. Baxter has had a tough life. His originals were not good people. They shot him, and now he is blind in one eye, so he is special needs dog. We were able to save him and placed him with a wonderful family about 6 months ago, but turns out he does NOT like cats. Khaleesi is a 10 mos old Daniff (Mastiff/Dane) that is in dire need of a home. She is nothing short of a miracle! As a puppy she was neglected and starved. Her current owner rescued and and nursed her back to health. She is now an amazing dog who loves to run and play. She is good with dogs, cats, kids,....and loves cows. She is housebroken, knows her obedience commands, crate trained. and leash trained. She is very well trained for only being 10 mos. Unfortunately her current owner has fallen on hard times and has lost her home and is forced to rehome her. Currenty located in Nampa ID Call or text 208.861.3880 to request an adoption application. UPDATE: Mishka was taken to the Idaho Humane Society on 2/8/25. She is such an amazing dog. Please share this post and hopefully someone will adopt her.

Mishka was found by one of our amazing Fosters near Cassia Park in Boise ID. She was able to track down the original owner in another city to find out they had rehomed her on Craigslist. She had obvouisly been dumped and had been wandering around the freezing weather for days. With a lot of coaxing and treats she was able to get Mishka inside, in the warmth. Mishka has her rabies tag, is spayed, is good with kids, dogs and cats. She is very sweet,, and jut wants to be loved by people. Due to current living conditions....she can't keep Mishka and is hoping someone with a huge heart will take her and show her that most people are good and will abandon her again. Fur-ever home needed for Gideon. Gideon is a 6 mosold Corso mix that is UTD on shots, housebroken, and working on leash training. He is poster-pup for guardian dogs. He does great with "his pack" of dogs, cats, and kids. But, as a guardian dog, he IS very protective. He is fearless and wants to be alpha. We prefer someone who has large breed experience, as he is at that age, where he needs structure, socialization and training to ensure he gets to live a long, healthy life. Gideon is a special pup, who really needs a special person who can help him be the best dog he can be. He is currently located in Silverton Idaho. kate is a 1.5 yo brindle Cane Corso currently located in Raymond Washington. She is great with other dogs, kids,and cats. She is curious and learns quickly and his very loving. She is UTD on shots, spayed, knows basic commands, and house broken. She tends to get seperation anxiety if left home for long periods of time.

Molly is 1 yo Corso/Neapolitan mix. She is super sweet and loving. She is currently being fostered in Boise ID. She is treat motivated and is learning quickly. Due to allergies she needs a lamb or chicken diet. She recently had cherry-eye surgery and is recovering extemely well. Her foster notes that she recently started barking at other dogs and is possibly dog reactive. She does OK with cats….but would prefer they not be around. ha. Her foster has also been working with on crate training, which she is getting better at. she is housebroken, spayed, micro-chipped, and UTD on shots.

Meatball is fun- loving, goofy, Bullmastiff mix that is 1.5 yo. He is nuertered, micro-shipped, and UTD on shots. He is housebroken, crate trained, and leash trained. He is great with other dogs, kids, and cats. He knows basic commands and even knows to wipe his mouth after drinking water so he doesn’t cover you in slobber. ha. He loves running the yard and playing with other dogs. for short periods of time,. then needs a few minutes to rest and recharge. ha. Total goof-ball and snuggle-bug. He is currently locatd in Athol ID.

Sally is a beautiful Boerbeol that is almost 1 yo. Her light, caramel colored eyes are a difinate show-stopper!

She is spayed, UTD on shots, micro-chipped, and housebroken.

She is the sweetest and softest dog you’ll ever meet, and very resilient. We’ve nicknamed her Flop because when wants loves… she will literally flop at your feet. Ha.

She LOVES everyone and everything.

Her foster notes she lacks leash training and needs more basic obedience work….but is treat motivated and is learning quickly.

She loves car rides and wants to be near her people all the time. She be a goof-ball, and when she gets excited she hops around like bunny.

She is great with dogs, cats, and children. She will thrive in a home with an active family that has other dogs.

Urgent- Update-

Meatball. This young, goofy boy is in desperate need of a fur-ver home and family. We recently saved him from being euthanized. He was declining quickly at the shelter due to no love and limited human interaction. He is 1.5 yo, utd of shots, and in process of getting neutered. He is super playful and loves running around with the other dogs. His current foster reported a funny quirk! Meatball actually wipes his mouth after drinking water. Reduced dog slobber is a bonus! He also willingly goes to his kennel on command, which is rare as most Mastiff's know. ugh.

Meet Miss "Molly from Corporate." Molly is about 3 yo and is the sweetest thing ever! She was supposed to go the Inmate training program, but her fosters believe that due to how sensitive she is...it may be detrimental to her. She does great with children and other dogs is introducted properly. Her fosters noted that she does have a high prey drive, so probably no cats. She knows a lot of commands and is content just laying down by her humans. She travels well and pretty mellow. Molly loves playing hide-and-go seek with her Fosters yound child. She is housebroken. She will flourish in a home with a family who can help with pulling on her leash and providing ample oppotunities for exersize. She is spayed and utd on shots.. Currently being fostered in Boise ID

We having AMAZING news! Idaho Mastiff Rescue, Inc. will be starting the "Inmate Dog Training Program" at the Idaho Maximum Security Prison. This is an amazing opportunity for our Gentle Giants and the inmates at the facility. We will be transfering 5 dogs to the prison next week.
