Hey All,

I write this message with a desperate need. As we all have seen on social media that there are several dogs who need to come into the rescue. We hate saying no and right now we have quite a few amazing pups who need a soft place to land.

We are looking for foster homes of all types and varieties in Idaho and now Washington. If you have an apartment, maybe a slower mastiff can crash on your couch for a few days. If you have young kids, we will only place a dog with you who has been kid tested.

This is a desperate need to help the lovable mastiff breed. We have crates available. We are also starting a volunteer page for other needs.

Daisy (A2159591) and Zsazsa (A2159592) are scheduled to be euthanized tomorrow even though they are happy, healthy, dog-friendly pups. They are thought to be 1-2 yo and don't deserve to have their life ended. We can save them if we can find fosters or adopters. They can be placed seperately. Zsazsa is a black cane corso and Daisy is a grey cane corso. We can help arrange transport out of CA to get them to safety. If you can assist call or text 208.861.3880 asap

Update- Foster has been secured! Lukus is in route to Shoshone ID and will fostered by one of our FAVORITE foster families!
He is still needing a permanent home.

This is this big boy's HAIL MARY! Lucas is a 1.5 yo Corso mix. (his DNA test shows he is 68% Corso) We thought we had placement twice...but both backed out last minute. He has been in the shelter environment too long...and this is his last chance to be able to be part of a family and know what it feels like to be loved and wanted.
We ca get him on a transport that leaves tomorrow morning and transport can be provided but we need commitment within next few hours. Call or text 208.861.3880

URGENT! The adopter for Lucus backed out at the last minute and Lucas is already setup to be transported to Idaho the day after Thanksgiving. Lucus is a young Corso mix that that has been at the shelter since August. He is sweet and affectionate and tolerant of other dogs. Staff advised he may be depressed or just wants to keep to himself. When in playgroup he goes to back of the yard to be by himself. He has had 2 potential adopters, but he missed his first opportunity becuase he got kennel cough and couldn't leave on transport. The second adopter pulled out at the last minute. Lucas really needs to get out of the shelter and into a safe, loving home. Transport leaves in next few days. He was orinally coming to Boise, but the transport is also heading towards Seattle WA area, and possibly No Idaho? Please complete out application

Marble aka Celeste was failed by her previous humans. She was abandoned on the streets and left to fend for herself. She was picked up as a stray and in very poor condition. She had mange so bad, sores were oozing with puss. We were able to save this girl from being euthanized and got her her an amazing Foster in locatedn in Oakland, Her foster has been nursing her back to health and providing her with much needed love. The video is from when she arrived and the picture shows how much this girl has improved. Her eyes say it all. If your heart belongs to "dogs in need"....she is the girl for you. Update- Sparrow has been adopted!!!

Sparrow is a one-of-a-kind Cane Corso with a heart as big as his paws. This sweet, one-year-old boy may have just one eye, but don’t let that fool you—it doesn’t slow him down one bit. Found as a stray with an old eye infection, Sparrow had to have one eye removed—but he hasn’t missed a beat. Update- ASA has been adopted. We are so excited for her, she is finally getting the happy ending she deserves. Thank you to Andy Corrigan and Jason Heigel Foundation for making all this happen.

Asa is a 1‑year‑old spayed Mastiff who already tips the scales at over 100 pounds — but don’t let her size fool you. This gentle giant is calm, easygoing, and full of love. She adores affection and will happily soak up pets and attention from everyone she meets.

Despite her impressive stature, Asa is wonderfully easy on leash and already knows “sit.” Her sweet, affectionate nature makes her a joy to be around, whether you’re taking a leisurely stroll or just relaxing at home.

Torvi has been adopted! She is a true rescue success story! She was dumped at a high kill shelter after she had a litter of pups. Giving birth resulted in a pr*****ed va**na. We believe the owner didn't want to pay the vet bill so he just dumped her. She was at the shelter for several months and was listed to be euthanized several times. Once her medical needs were addressed and she was spayed we transported her a foster. She was terrified. We quickly found she just needed physical touch and love from humans! She was adopted and now lives on a large farm property and gets to go to work everyday with her new Dad! This was a much needed reminder of why we spend so much time, energy, and money rescuing these gentle giants!
