This is our other Molly! Since we currently have 2 Molly's we are referring to her as Mildred. Mildred has had a tough start to life. She was pretty much forced to fend for herself in the mountains in ID. Luckily the landlord took her in and brought her down to Boise so we could try a find her a loving home. She is currently in Meridian ID. She does good with cats, dogs, and kids.

UPDATE- Rain's paw injury was worse that than what we thought. Fortunately the amazing staff & Dr.s at the Idaho Humane Society were able to get her in and assess the injury. We were delighted to hear back from yesterday that they only had to amputate her toe. (we were expecting her leg would need to be amputated.) Rain is one our Rescue favorites and we are so happy whe will get the opportunity to be part of a new loving family!

Even being in pain, scared and hungry Rain is still the sweetest girl. Giving lots of kisses. Rain is a beautiful fawn/black bull mastiff, unsure of age looks to be may be 1-2ish years old. She has had a tough start in life a bad paw injury and is still a sweetpea and deserves to know what love feels like. Rain is good with other big dogs (no small dogs, they scare her),She does not like cats. Emergency foster said she did good with kids. She does have an injured front paw, we are dealing with. She loves car rides. Loves laying next to her person. Very well behaved all the way around. Does very well on leash. A very beautiful baby.

We are in dire need of temporary Fosters in the Boise and the surrounding areas. We are trying to save at least 4 Mastiff breed dogs from being euthanized at high-kill shelters (mastiff breeds include Cane Corsos, Bullmastiffs, Neapolitan Mastiffs, Presa Canarios's, Great Danes, English Mastiffs, Boerboels, Dogue Bordeoux's, Fila's, etc) Dogs will arrive at a centralized location via mobile transport at specified date. The rescue will cover all expenses. Your job will just be to love the dog, take to vet appts., be available for meet ad greets, and provide general updates to the rescue regarding personality and temprament so we can make sure the dog is placed with the perfect family. As a Foster you also have first right of refusal if decide you want to adopt. (all adoption application requirements stay the same)
We have 4 dogs being transported into Boise early next week.

Jonni is one of our Directors and lives in Eureka MT. She has been volunteering for ID Mastiff Rescue, Inc for over 3 years. She has a huge heart and a passion for rehabilitating dogs who have been let down by humans.
