Meet Miss "Molly from Corporate." Molly is about 3 yo and is the sweetest thing ever! She was supposed to go the Inmate training program, but her fosters believe that due to how sensitive she is...it may be detrimental to her. She does great with children and other dogs is introducted properly. Her fosters noted that she does have a high prey drive, so probably no cats. She knows a lot of commands and is content just laying down by her humans. She travels well and pretty mellow. Molly loves playing hide-and-go seek with her Fosters yound child. She is housebroken. She will flourish in a home with a family who can help with pulling on her leash and providing ample oppotunities for exersize. She is spayed and utd on shots.. Currently being fostered in Boise ID

Update- Petra has been adopted

With all the excitement of starting the "Inmates & Mastiff Service of Idaho" prison dog training program....I feel like I've kind-of let our other wonderful dogs that are needing new homes down. :(

This is Petra aka Buttercup. She is around 12 weeks old Corso/Husky bundle of joy! She is being fostered by a wonderful dog trainer in Idaho Falls, who has graciously offered to provide 50% any future training if desired. Although we don't endorse gifting a puppy for Christmas......If you've looking for a Mastiff pup,
Wouldn't she be perfect with a great big red bow on her head! (and kudow's to the pet photographer who took this amazing picture!)

Update- We were able to secure fosters for all these dogs!!!

As you may have already heard...we were asked to start the Inmate Dog Training Program at the maximum security prison. We will have 5 dogs in the program. The dogs are arriving in Boise this Sat 12/14/24 between 11-1pm via transport.
The prison just contacted me and advised we now need to wait for paperwork to go thru legal, which could take a week or more. UGH!
So now we have 5 dogs arriving in 3 days......with no where to go!
Desperately needing 5 temporary Fosters, that live near Boise ID who can care for the dogs temporarily.

We having AMAZING news! Idaho Mastiff Rescue, Inc. will be starting the "Inmate Dog Training Program" at the Idaho Maximum Security Prison. This is an amazing opportunity for our Gentle Giants and the inmates at the facility. We will be transfering 5 dogs to the prison next week.

We are in need of these items before 12/11/24
5 XL dog crates
5 large dog pillows
5 elevated dog bowls
quality dog food

URGENT!!! Foster needed asap!
Rio is a 2 yo Mastiff/Staff. He is a BIG BOY! He is neutered and UTD on shots. He has been transferred around alot and needs a stable and consistent environment to decompress. He has done OK with other dogs in the past, but due to all the stress involved in switching homes, he has become intolerant. We need a Foster, or adopter that has no other animals in the household so they can focus on him. He needs lots of love and to help rebuilding his confidence and trust. He loves older kids. He will excel with a person who is active, and can exercise him.
It has been heart-breaking to witness his gradual decline due to the stress and not having a stable home.

Rebel is a 3 mos old Anatolian Sheperd/Akbash. This poor little guy was rescued from an owner who had left him out in a ditch, in 3 inches of mud in freezing weather. Said he could "fend for himnself."
