Due to the recent destructive weather events, a rare opportunity to join our closed QLD Masterclass group as a rider participant has become available in our upcoming clinics on either 15th-16th or the 17th -18th March, 2022.
A true master in the Art of Classical Dressage, Belinda Bolsenbroek intertwines the teachings of the Old Masters with the intricate science of biomechanics and nuances of rehabilitation to provide an holistic approach, shaping and guiding riders and their equine partners along their individual journey. Belinda’s unparalleled knowledge, combined with her passion for educating riders provides a unique learning experience within a supportive community environment. Typically filled well in advance, Belinda’s face to face clinics offer a combination of individual lessons and theory sessions during which Belinda covers in-depth topics such as:
- Biomechanics and the science behind functional movement
- Rehabilitation and working with trauma
- Assessing correct movement
- Achieving spinal alignment and true carriage
- Interplay between emotions, restrictions and movement
- History and evolution of horsemanship from ancient greek/roman times to the present day
Held over two days, clinics are a great opportunity for equine professionals, rehabilitation specialists, breeders, trainers, coaches and committed riders of all disciplines to commit themselves to a deeper understanding of the animals they work with. Under Belinda’s passionate guidance participants will be confidently equipped with the skills and knowledge to take their partnerships to the next level.

Another weekend spent in lockdown. Thank you everyone for your understanding while lessons are yet again disrupted, fingers crossed things don't go longer than expected 🤞🤞 Needless to say I am feeling very grateful to have had the opportunity to teach at Bellingen Showground last weekend before dropping back into lockdown through the week. 🌹
In a world that loves to tell you how to be I am grateful to surround myself with inspirational people who dance their own dance. Who are brave enough to march to their own beat when it matters. To those who can see past typical measures of success and realise that a ribbon or trophy aren't the only measure of our skill as horse(wo)men. However, it is important to understand and embrace the personal nature of self development, especially when it comes to our journey with horses. I love this quote, to me it fits perfectly with the way I view Classical Dressage. A journey of growth that strives to create a harmonious balance between the science of biomechanics and the art of beautiful two-way communication between a horse and rider. These elements play back and forward continuously in training, building layers as an artist would. With each layer, a greater depth of awareness, connection and skill intertwining to reach the ultimate partnership.
