It’s expensive owning so many puppies but it’s worth every penny. Creme Brulee had her dental. Hoping to get on top of these guys’ teeth so we don’t have to do these annual dentals. I’m trying so hard to find the time to brush all of their teeth once a day. I don’t get it done every day but that’s the goal.

I will admit, I was a bit unhinged having another baby go under anesthesia!!!! I didn’t put her down for that day and the next! She’s back to her old self now and I’m glad that’s over.

Latte is looking pretty rough and in need of a bath and brushing. I’ve left her be so she would acclimate to accepting and nurturing these sweet babies.

Guess what!!!! She’s back to eating her raw food good and her milk came in!!!! I got to sleep for six straight hours last night and boy do I feel better. She’s taking care of Coconuts littles better than I ever dreamed. What a blessing 🙏🥰

Here is an update on Coconut’s puppies They are doing well. I’m bottle feeding every two - 3 hours round the clock. I’m a bit tired but I weigh them before each feeding and they are starting to gain finally. I have my sweet Latte nurturing them when I’m not feeding them. Latte lost her litter a few weeks ago and her milk never came in. So even though Coconuts pups are suckling on her, there’s no milk. Latte thinks these are her babies. She sniffed them at first meeting and immediately laid down and pulled them to her to coddle. She keeps them quiet, warm, and comfy. I had hoped them trying to nurse would make her relocate but so far it hasn’t. So I’ll bottle feed until they are grown enough. I do have more litters on the way so I can get some help down the road from my future mommas for feeding. Right now I think Latte is very happy with them.

I want to thank everyone for their thoughtful words regarding my Coconut. I’m very heartbroken still. The shock has worn off now and I’m just left with a hole in my heart. Even as a breeder, we have our favorites. I have a few favorites and Coconut was at the very top of that list. When she retired, she was staying with me as a pet forever. I went to my first AKC show back in the late 90’s and fell in love with an ice white poodle named Claire. I have no idea who owned her but she was a stunning show dog! Coconut was my closest poodle to that Claire. Her personality was her own. She was truly amazing and I will forever miss her. I’m writing this with tears running from my eyes, I have to move forward with this void in my heart. I’ll concentrate on raising her sweet babies and think of her often ♥️ Thank you all again! Hugs

I think today is the saddest day I have seen in years with my poodles. I lost my precious Coconut to complications. She passed away early this morning. I’m heartbroken. THIS is the bad side of being a breeder. I’m extremely attached. 😢💔

Coconut had a rough time. This is her second litter and she just doesn’t like pushing. She’s my big baby. So we started early labor yesterday. I tried to let her go and do this on her own but by this morning, one puppy was distressed. So off to see Dr Larson at Tender Care Animal Hospital and a c- section was under way.

We now have the babies home and Coconut’s going to stay with Dr Larson for a few hours as she recovers some. What a night!!!

We have a black female that will likely be blue or silver and a white male 🥰

This gorgeous girl is not as active as usual. She has a pretty puffy belly and due tomorrow. She’s on baby watch!

Sorry I’m doing such a large photo drop this morning! I just haven’t had time to get these posts made lately. As I lay in bed posting, I can’t help but snap this picture of Brulee in MY bed and tell this story. Lol

My granddaughter took Creme Brulee to bed with her last night. I’m not sure what time it was but I woke up to Brulee in my bed in the middle of the night. My hubby LOVES this dog. I think because she really likes him. Most of our dogs tend to gravitate to me and Brulee runs right to him to snuggle in bed and he loves that. I asked why she was in our bed and he proceeded to tell me that he was just checking on the kids. When he peeked in on Celeste, there were two dogs sleeping on her pillow and one acted like it was going to jump off the bed when he walked in, so he took her lol. Okay, I’m sure it had nothing to do with him asking where she was when he went to bed 😂😂😂

My granddaughter Arabella Amore with Malibu Barbie just before the pregnancy test. Malibu was bred to Starbucks in hopes that we could have a repeat litter as beautiful as their first! She had four gorgeous parti poodles (red and brown both) last time.

Results are: she is pregnant! Videos can’t be added with photos on a business account page so I’ll post in comments. Her due date will fall between 7/14 - 7/27 according to when she was bred. She’s not showing yet so I expect it to be later in the month.

My beautiful Whippie is eight months old now. He is nine inches square and just four pounds. He is our little white lovebug. The kids mistake him for Coconut all the time. They will make beautiful white tiny toy poodles in the future! Eventually I will retire Petey our sweet mini silver boy and Whippie will take over. Our silver/white program is growing as we kept a desert silver little girl out of Petey’s last litter. I’ll have to get done updated pictures of her to post (Pecan Praline is her name).

This is Ariat. He is a deep dark red little guy turns seven months old in just a few days. He’s our four pound future stud. He stands 8 1/2 inches square and has the sweetest personality. He looks like a mini version of our Clark Kent boy. Clark gets to retire next year.

Latte went into labor this morning at 6:45 am. She quickly had an underdeveloped stillborn puppy at 7:00 am, that is probably what caused her to be sick while we were on vacation. It looked to be about a week or more immature. I’m unsure what caused that puppy to pass inutero as I was not home. It wasn’t looking so good for the first couple of hours. I feared the worst. I did let her go for two hours on her own to see if she would start pushing again before I intervened. She stirred a little in the mean time but wasn’t progressing.

At 9:05 am I gave her an injection of oxytocin to get her contractions going again. She was questionably pregnant still. She normally gets much a bigger belly than this. So I wondered if she was a little on the chunky side or there was indeed another baby inside her.

At 9:10 am, the oxytocin kicked in proving we had a baby coming and Latte started pushing. The pushing became stronger as every minute passed and at 9:27, we had a baby born.

This little fella is a brown, slightly premature baby boy that my grandson has nicknamed “MB”. He was born breech, and she pushed so hard that there wasn’t even a sac around him. I quickly pulled the puppy and started removing all the flies from his airway. He needed some help to get breathing, blood stopped from cord ripping so short, and warmed up.
After nebulizing with some albuterol and time on the heat pad, he finally stabilized. He is currently nursing as mom relaxes.

I really think this is it for Latte. She doesn’t look to be carrying any more puppies. I know this is likely a disappointment to those on our waiting list that were hoping for little girls. Don’t worry please. We have more mommas that are expecting. Coconut is getting quite the belly going on! If you are hoping for a parti, Malibu and Oreo are both displaying pregnancy symptoms. They are getting pregnancy tests on June 27th and June 30th. Lucy will have her pregnancy test on July 2. So keep an eye out for the test results that post.

As for this sweet new baby boy, he is tiny. Only 2 ounces and because our waiting list is compiled of people wanting females, we are not going to offer this puppy for sale. We first want to be sure he thrives and does well. Second, my grandson asked if he could have him lol. I am actually keeping an eye out for a tiny brown male for our color bred brown program. Our new girls Twinkles and Bella are in need of a future boyfriend. It’s so hard to find quality AKC Toy Poodles with great health and genetics. This might be him. My grandson Justus is a huge basketball fanatic. He loves Michael Jordan and Larry Bird. He said that if he gets to keep this pup, his name will be Michael Bird 😂😂😂😂, MB. Who knows, a lot can change in a short time. This baby boy is only a couple hours old.

The whole reason we came to NC was to bring my grandson to basketball camp at UNC for his third year. He loves it! We are huge Tarheel fans and we decided to just make a little family vacation out of it. Normally my daughter and husband are the only ones that come for camp. This year has been different. We brought my parents, youngest daughter, and all the granddaughters along. We flew into Wilmington and hit the beach for a couple of days then drove over to Chapel Hill.

It’s been a very relaxing and fun trip! However, as they say, all good things must come to an end. I’m getting ready to head to the Raleigh airport and go home a couple days earlier than the rest.

My sweet Latte is due and I don’t want to miss her delivery! The sitters have been taking her temp, holding her non stop, taking turns staying up with her at night in case she were to go into labor early, and updating me multiple times a day. She had me worried a couple days ago. She stopped eating and has been nesting a lot. She started eating again yesterday which has given me hope that she’s waiting on me to get home! I really think she’s due closer to the 20th but only time will tell.

So, watch for updates! I’ll get home late tonight since I fly into Chicago and have to drive home from there. I will be bombarding you all with pictures and updates as long as everything is going well ♥️

Frenchie is our miniature phantom poodle. She’s hanging out in the groom room with me and Yeti, our Maine c**n cat tonight. It may be a long night. We are on baby watch. Tuna, our Maine C**n momma is about to pop and tonight is probably her night to deliver. Frenchie is already yawning! As I’m typing this, she fell asleep lol.

As you can see, cats and dogs can coexist! Frenchie is my biggest dog and only miniature girl. The rest of the girls are all Toy size. Yeti is twice Frenchie’s size literally. They all love each other. It helps that the Maine C**n cat breed all think they are dogs lol

Dr Larson did his second exam on our last litter of toy poodles yesterday. They have all gone home now except Praline, who we are keeping.

Frenchie, “Starbucks” Coffee, French “Macaron”, and Peter Parker “Petey” all had their dentals yesterday. Check out the before and after photos! I LOVE that they do these! I am brushing their teeth daily now!!!

Frenchie has been going twice a week with Jen for training and doing awesome. I love how she works with her ♥️

Can’t brag enough on how much I love our vets, vet techs, and entire staff. They are what make our breeding program flow and stay healthy! They may start charging us rent…I’ve been up there so much lately lol.

Meet Bella and Twinklez! They are our tiny toy brown half sisters. We just got them home and are so thrilled to have them. They are going to take some time to adjust and they don’t get to meet the rest of the gang for a while but I love these girls! It has been years since I had any dark brown show quality-but small, toy poodles. I’m so freaking excited!!!! They are full grown just under five pounds. Perfect little square conformation, beautiful little faces 🥰

Coconut had a C-section this morning. She just got home and met her two babies for the first time.

We have expectant mommas. Coconut, Malibu, Oreo, and Lucy are all confirmed pregnant.

Waffles found his forever home with Lydia! She came to church last night and met him in person, fell in love, and we set a time to meet today. Waffles sat through church service with me a very tired puppy. He played over at MaMa and PaPa’s with their dog Pocket all day while I did farm chores. So by last night, he was wiped out. Then today we met at PetSmart so I could help Lydia get some items for him. I had a little helper myself, my granddaughter Bella. We had so much fun. Here is Waffles going home today. I think his new name might end up being Pierre. ♥️♥️♥️He has an amazing life ahead of him. Last of our puppies!
