Missing this girl today. The first picture was her service dog graduation day. We were so very young! I was fresh out of high school and she had just turned one! And the last picture is the very last time she worked before cancer decided to take over her life. I will forever have a missing piece of my heart. I am however making room in my heart for a new side kick in the coming months. Getting our home ready for when I am placed with my new girl definitely helps keep my mind occupied.

As many of you probably know, I lost my best friend, my service dog, and a huge piece of my heart. Charlotte was my world and living without her has been unbearable. But I know she would be incredibly upset with me if I didn't pick myself up and keep going so I am going to do that for her.
