Duke is a very kind well handled foal with a very relaxed personality. He is very brave and isn’t fazed by much around him! Given his breeding I say he will be a very talented show jumper.

Very proud of my handsome 2 year old c**t in Bunniconlon today. Competition was none but he was so well behaved I was so happy with him! ❤️❤️ can’t wait for what next year brings for this fellow

Another one bits the dust
Charlie, 3 year old said his goodbyes yesterday and I’ve never been more sad to see this boy go! Hopefully I’ll see him again soon jumping around a track of fences and making someone very proud ❤️

This week we said goodbye to our little Pooka! Pookas presence has been missed already in the yard but I hope she is making her new owner laugh as much as she did with us.

You get so lost in what everyone thinks about you, you forget to do what you love 💓
I have been struggling lately with my confidence and my ability to work with horses. I lost sight of who I am and what I’m about so here is one of the photos that started me off on this page. This is a day I didn’t win the show but I was so happy with how my horse went and how proud she made me feel.
THAT is the reason I do what I love. I’m really blessed to have such support behind me who are so patient with me when I lose the run of myself.
I missed posting about my adventures and how proud my horse’s make me feel so I’m back to give it another shot!
I hope I’m not the only person who feels this way sometimes

We’ll be the old ladies causing trouble in the nursing home.

Twas a great day to be out jumping with great friends. Double clear in the 90cm which I was delighted about. It's taken a while for me and Ben to get going but I'm delighted we are starting. 🥰
Thank you to and for the support and friendship needed to get me around that course. 💪💪

Little maisy has left us here today at SlieveRue Stables.
Maisy came to us for breaking and riding and turned out to be the most beautiful pony I've ever seen. She took on everything with her chilled out attitude.
I wish her owners the best of luck on the newest chapter. I know great things are to come. Cannot wait to hear from about the adventures 🥰🥰🥰

Happy Wednesday guys! So this week we are focusing on getting horses out again for riding club and one day eventing.
Its kind of surreal that we are getting to go see people again. I'm starting to wonder if I can remember how to interact with humans.
Very excited to be aiming horses towards days out 🤗

Anyone else excited to be able to go with a trailer again????

So I've decided to let iontas off for a few weeks before she has to come inside for the winter.
Its so hard when your horses heart isn't in the work anymore.
One of iontas favourite things to do is jumping and we have started tapping poles and being careless which is something she doesn't do.
After her break I'll be getting her back checked and hopefully be back flying over the bigger fences ❤️
How's your week going? Are you like iontas and just done with 2020?

Some horses come into our lives bring something we must learn ❤️
With lock down around and uncertain times ahead I'm so grateful for Aurora. Aurora is my exciting project and is one of my 1st homebred horses that I get to even consider for the young horse classes. ❤️
This year I had hoped to try and get her to Dublin in the 3 year old loose jumping classes but clearly it wasn't meant to be.
I know that I'll be watching her or her sister in the Dublin Horse Show one day, it might not be with me on her back but I know that we will make it, one way or another ❤️❤️
I'm sure I'm not the only dreamer out there that holding onto some hope for the future! Will there even be a Dublin horse show next year and will it be behind closed doors?

Life as we know it seems strange at the moment but I can't help think it's made me a better person.
It has made me realise how lucky in life I am and that not everyone is as lucky as me.
I'm bleased to be able to wake up and do what I love and have stunning horses like Tiny Theo and Aurora.
To other people it's a distant dream.
Be kind in life, you only got one life so make the most of it. 💞
