Today wasn’t a winning day but it was a great day for friends!
I took Ernie into his 1st show and even though he was brilliant he didn’t quite make the ribbons, but he did prove that he was the quietest pony ever! He took everything in his stride! Hopefully his mane will grow and he will get into the Connemara classes soon!
Had a go at the ridden classes with my ginger ninja who was an angel today! Took on the class today very well and actually relaxed and rode lovely for me. Sadly I plaited her mane to the wrong side so it really did put us out of the ribbons but that wasn’t our goals for today! The goal was to stay on! Sadly forgot to get photos of her !
Very happy with the progress we have achieved today!

Who doesn’t love a good Connemara 💞
Ernie is a 5 year old full Connemara in for training and will be looking for a new 🏡 in a few weeks.
Ernie seems to be the perfect competition pony for working hunter classes as he just has an amazing stride!
Thank you to Clodagh who came over yesterday to meet the new arrival and to take these lovely photos! More to come in the next few weeks!

A milestone day for SlieveRue Stables. 1st day out with 2 homebred horses, SlieveRue Aurora and SlieveRue Aisling and what a result it was! 2nd in the Preliminary class with a score of 66.25% and a 1st place in the Intro to dressage class with a score of 67.35%. Huge thank you to everyone who helped me today! Was greatly appreciated!

Our stunning c**t foal Duke will be looking for a new 🏡 after weaning. 💕
Duke is a very kind well handled foal with a very relaxed personality. He is very brave and isn’t fazed by much around him! Given his breeding I say he will be a very talented show jumper.

Very proud of my handsome 2 year old c**t in Bunniconlon today. Competition was none but he was so well behaved I was so happy with him! ❤️❤️ can’t wait for what next year brings for this fellow
