KATINA UPDATE: this is the first video we are able to confirm from reliable sources of Katina in B pool following her move to the med pool a few weeks ago Video was posted by @ThatDisneyBoi on X on March 24. While it is possible that her health has improved, there is no indication that that is the reason behind the move. Other possibilities exist, such as making her more visible to audiences in the grandstand as the 60th anniversary launches, a public relations effort to counter the published drone footage, or it could be a compassionate hospice move to place her with her daughter. We will continue to monitor and update.

PART 3- Just one week after federal inspectors condemned Toki’s pool, this dude called for her emergency removal so repairs could be made. In February, 2022, The Dolphin Company informed the USDA that it would not place its killer whale Toki on display. The very next day, February 23, Friends of Toki was incorporated by these two dudes. On March 3, the USDA granted The Dolphin Company an exhibitor’s license for the Miami Seaquarium, excluding Toki and her dolphin companion.
PART 2- A never-before-made public USDA inspection that condemend Tokitae’s pool has been recently uncovered. For the first time in decades, the inspectors noted that the pool does not meet the minimum space requirements for a killer whale and the tank itself is severely damaged.

The collapse in Surfside led to Miami-Dade county completing emergency inspections on buildings that were more than 40 years old.
