As if BGHR couldn't be any more irresponsible, they've allowed one of their wild horses to breed one of the wild mares. When they moved horses last year from the cow sanctuary, they had exposure between the stallions and mares from the Kisatchie herd. Knowing this likely happened (because if you have stallions in inappropriate containment and mares on the property, it was likely), they failed to contact their vet to prevent this (meds for mares) and they shrugged and said eh, it's ok to have a foal (that they'll use to fundraise and get views (views = $$ from facebook) because it's cute).

Yet another mouth they'll have to beg for money to feed and hopefully castrate in a timely manner.

Hopefully it doesn't go the way of Baby Rose and the absolutely terrible neglect and pain and suffering she experienced before she escaped the hellhole that is BGHR.

We should be shocked - but with BGHR involved - these crazy moronic stunts don't surprise us much anymore.

Emily Domagtoy - President of Baby Girl Horse "Rescue" and "Veteran Therapy" Ranch - who condoned and participated in starving horses, who stalked and harassed another rescue, who posted TikTok videos from her USDA work office taunting former volunteers - has formed a new non-profit, Harry's Hidden Acres.

Freddy and Al are their money makers now. BGHR and HHA post similar photos and stories - but they are one in the same.

I'm sure Emily is trying to distance herself from the legal drama Van has gotten himself into lately. More on this in the next post.

But... don't be fooled. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞.

We posted a while back asking where all the horses have gone. BGHR responded with their own post, stating that Franklin and the horses have been moved to "The Ark" - ie, Van's personal property. The reason? To "do some grounds work" at the Ranch.

As always, this was a blatant lie.

BGHR has been evicted from the Titan/Eagle Ranch for non-payment of rent for several months.

The property is now for sale.

They've completely trashed the barn building - leaving OTHERS to clean up their mess, as per usual.

The Eagle Ranch has been cleaned out. There are no horses there.

Franklin has been sighted at Van's house - but not the horses.

Have they been moved to Emily's?

Their page has morphed into a grotesque spectacle, now nothing more than *The Emily Show*, a nauseating carnival of saccharine, faux-inspirational posts accompanied by a relentless chorus of kumbaya.

Yet, beneath this facade of feel-good drivel lies a grim reality—the rotting corpses of countless dead horses, an indelible stain on our collective memory.

Their attempts to reinvent themselves are nothing more than a smoke screen, a desperate ploy to obscure their true nature. These are the same people who have swindled donors out of money and horses and left a harrowing trail of starving, lifeless animals in their wake.

Don’t be deceived by their deceitful veneer; the truth is as ugly as the cruelty they’ve inflicted.

This is still on-going.

Emily has called code enforcement nearly daily and constantly drives past the Helsel ranch to video, stalk, and harass them and the workers there. Jill and Kamron were once BELOVED volunteers of BGHR.

Emily and Van have also attended every code enforcement hearing. Why? For what purpose? The properties are not near each other. There is absolutely no reason for this behavior.

There's another code enforcement hearing today.

Wanna bet who will be there for NO REASON?

Emily talks a big talk about rescues working together - but they have made Painted Horse Rescue's lives a living hell over the last year. The Helsel's dreamed of having more space to offer their rescue horses and have the ability to help even more, Emily has made it her mission to QUASH THAT DREAM - FOR NO REASON. She has absolutely no stake in this besides SPITE.

Van claims he's a disabled veteran but we find it hard to believe he's disabled in any way.

He even goes so far as to use the handicap parking when he's completely mobile. It's legal for DV license plate holders to use handicap parking in FL but only if they have mobility impairment.

How disgusting to take away a spot from someone who actually NEEDS it.

I'll start -

Chapter 1: How to tell big dramatic mostly bu****it stories to get people to donate

Chapter 2: How to buy draft horses with other people's money and then let them starve in 3 easy steps

Chapter 3: How to pretend to be a hero and accept donations for holidays while keeping donations for yourself or let them rot in the barn

Chapter 4: How to bilk people out of money by pretending to be a "veteran therapy ranch" while having no therapy programs and actually being horrible to veterans

Chapter 5: How to alienate or fire all of your volunteers in 6 months

Well - BGHR is back to doing what they did in 2021 - purchasing draft horses from "kill pens" in the midwest. They have a new "Draft Horse Protocol" which we haven't seen proof of since Mac arrived. You know, it's a good thing two people have died so Van has a big sob story to tell so people will donate. Well wait... people AREN'T donating. Perhaps everyone has wised up to their old "Draft Horse Protocol" of starving horses to death or near to death then pawning them off on other rescues to rehab - out of their own pockets, mind you.

Van is like a petulant child. He cries and rants and tells big sad stories and says he NEEDS this horse or that or begs and says I swear we are trying to help this animal or that. His followers give in and give him the money to get said animal. Then he breaks the animal. Then throws it away and cries that it's because others (ie, "The Haters") made the horse break. And Emily supports this behavior - whole heartedly.

Oh sure, they've been in the right place and right time recently. But we are watching. They have a sordid history going back years and years. We will keep watching to keep the horses safe.
