This Beginners Group Course is the foundation for obedience and manners, and teaches clients how to interact correctly with their dog.

Thinking of bringing a puppy home for Christmas this holiday?

One of the most important decisions is making sure the breed you choose is the right fit for your lifestyle and environment.

I provide free consultations to help you figure this out so you don't feel overwhelmed by your choice. Different breeds have different needs and it's important to consider so you can create an environment that is a good fit for your and your new best friend.

I also provide private in-home lessons specifically for your new puppy if you are interested. This is the ultimate gift for you and your canine.

It is important that puppies have private lessons since they have not yet been fully vaccinated. You can start the puppy training as young as 8-weeks of age. Starting early will help you create a civilized dog later on. Even if you own an older puppy, it’s never too late to start. The puppy program also teaches owners how to handle their growing canine and how to understand and communicate with their new best friend.

Each lesson is customized to meet the needs of your particular puppy based on the issues that arise.

We will cover the following in Puppy Training, including but not limited to:

🐶 Basic commands: Sit, Down, Place (Stay), Confidence building, Puppy Recall
🐶 Prepare for Dog Socializing
🐶 Deal with nipping and jumping issues
🐶 Q&A regarding Potty Training
🐶 Positive Reinforcement!

Just a few canine clients I boarded. A friendly reminder that holidays are fast approaching.

"Board & Train" or simply Boarding are two options I provide for clients.

Space is limited and it's a first come, first serve basis.

Boarding is tailored to your dog and I personalize the experience. Only one family's dog(s) at a time.

If you opt for a Board & Train option, I follow up with the owner afterwards for a lesson on how to transfer my teachings to you, and hand over the reigns so to speak.

Clients often follow up with my group lessons to strengthen their skills and continue to train their canine companions.

I have over 15-years experience training dogs and it's still my passion. I have a degree from a prestigious dog training school because I chose to dedicate my career to helping clients with their dogs.

Happy Halloweenie from Your K9 Trainer!

Some tips from the American Kennel Club (AKC) for your canine companions during this holiday:

🐶 Chocolate: contains theobromine, which can be harmful and sometimes fatal to your dog.
🐶 Candies & Gum: biggest risk is the ingredient xylitol, which is toxic to pets and is often found in sugar free items.
🐶 Hard Candies: large quantities can clump up in the stomach and cause risk of obstruction.
🐶 Raisins: raisins (and grapes) are dangerous to dogs and can cause renal failure.
🐶 Candy Wrappers: can become lodged in your pet's throat or intestinal tract.
🐶 Glow Sticks/Jewelry: if punctured, the fluid cause mouth pain, irritation and excessive salivation.

Henry and Lucy are with me for two weeks for my "Board and Train" program. I make sure we work, but also relax.

When they go home, I will do a follow-up session with the owner(s) a few days after they get settled at home again.
