The founders saw a need in the world of veterinary medicine for pet owners to have affordable access to immediate triage advice from a veterinarian 24-hours a day, 365-days a year when a pet emergency arises. When such issues arise they often occur outside of the normal hours of your family veterinarian. You may be traveling with your pet outside of your hometown, enjoying the outdoors with your pet in a remote location, unable to run out the door to seek veterinary medical attention, or are simply unsure that an emergency hospital visit is necessary.

This is where VetTriage bridges the gap for pet parents. Utilizing our proprietary technology developed by our in-house team, we are able to connect pet owners instantly via video chat from any computer or mobile device. Our veterinarians are able to assess your pet based on information provided by you, all the while viewing your pet on screen. This offers our doctors the best opportunity to provide a preliminary diagnosis, and give you cursory medical advice on how to next proceed. These recommendations can range anywhere from your pet being ok to wait until the following morning to see your family vet, to prescribing medication to treat help the suspected condition, to sending your pet to the nearest 24-hour veterinary emergency hospital for an additional assessment and life-saving assistance.
