A DOG'S LIFE RESCUE
Well Jill, We bet your up there with all those 4 legged friends looking down on us. Thank you for everything you have done for the animals and even while your not with us, you have still strived to help with rescue. Your one of a kind Jill and your will be greatly missed. We are in shock and Im sure like many others who know you...we didnt expect you to leave so suddenly like you did...but those at rainbow bridge were waiting for you to walk them over the bridge. Goodbye Jill....until we meet again. ❤

So today our friend Jill End Bsl Lewis was laid to rest. Jill loved all animals and did so much for the desperate souls she came in contact with who needed help. Goodbye Jill and may you run with free with your doggies in the other world. 😢

We're thrilled to say that Angie has been adopted by her new family.
Angie was rescued from the pound. We had no background on her but she has proven to be a wonderful companion.
We're especially grateful to her foster family for the love they showed her, the patience they had whilst she learnt how to be in a home and the support they have given her every step of the way. Without them Angie would never had gotten this second chance at life.

NOTICE:
The admin of this rescue are all volunteers. Their time is given freely. They frequently pay out for expenses and vet treatment knowing full well they won't get it back.
Does it mean sometimes messages aren't answered promptly? Yes.
Does it mean that we're so swamped, and tired we can't respond to every application that fails? Yes.
Does it mean sometimes we're working in the background trying to help a number of dogs not just the one you asked about and so don't manage to do updates? Yes.

We currently have 10+ dogs we are committed to neutering, we don't have any money to do that so we as admins will be paying. Those of you having tantrums, are you going to step up and donate?

Do we deserve abuse and passive aggressive messages because you didn't think we contacted you quickly enough? I'll leave it up to you to judge.
It will certainly get you blocked.

But if you'd like to step up to help and put in the hours and the money we can certainly point you in the right direction.

It is now compulsory for all owned cats in England to be microchipped, making it more likely that lost or stray pet cats are reunited with their owners and returned home safely.

This includes cats that usually only stay indoors.

All keepers must ensure their cat is microchipped before they reach 20 weeks of age and their contact details stored and kept up to date in an approved pet microchipping database.

We need your help! 💜

So far this year’s vet bills have reached over £4500 (visible on our fundraising page). We are also committed to the neuter/spay of 11 more dogs.

Alongside vet fees we have other costs such as food and equipment for our many foster dogs, and transport fees. We would love to reimburse our amazing foster families and our volunteers for their fuel but at the moment this is beyond us.

As an organisation that relies solely on public donations we have come to a point where our necessary outgoings are not covered by our income. This means we are not in a position to take on any new dogs despite continuing to receive regular requests for help.

If anyone is in a position to make a small donation to help us cover these huge expenses so that we can continue to help more dogs in need, we would be extremely grateful.

Angie came to us from the stray pound where no one had come forward to claim her. Angie absolutely adores people and deserves the world.

🌟Good with dogs on a walk but would be best as the only dog in the home.
🌟Can be rehomed with children 8+

🐾🦮Angie walks well on the lead and greets people and dogs with a happy tail wag. She loves to sniff and would be happy with a few short walks a day. Due to her breed she does have prey drive so cannot be allowed off lead on walks. She does chase cats and some training in this area would be helpful 🐿️

🏠Angie is completely housetrained but needs training in manners around food as she will steal any food she can reach.
Angie can be left for a few hours but also enjoys travelling around with her human. 🚙

Vaccinated, Flead, Wormed. Chipped.
Will be rehomed under contract to spay.
Homecheck required. Adoption fee applies. Full rescue back up.

ZUES GSD PUPPY NEED A HOME.
Gorgous Zues is looking for his for ever home. Zues is 9 months old german shepherd who is very active and needs an active experienced home.
Zues is absolutely brilliant with humans and children. He's living with a young female dog at present.
We are looking for a home with children over 5yrs old because of his size and who has experience with large active breeds but also has the time to give him plenty of exercise mentally and physically.
Zue is a fantastic dog who will make a loyal companian.
Zues is in the Tameside/Glossop area.

🐾 COOPER IS LOOKING FOR A FOREVER HOME 🏠

♥️ COOPER is a 5 year old, friendly, affectionate Beagle. Typical of the breed he is looking for an active family who can give him a home.
🌟 PM the rescue for more info.🌟

♥️ Cooper has been in one family environment since 12 weeks old. He is fully toilet trained and good with children but would prefer a home with children 10+. Cooper is quite energetic, as is typical of his breed, and loves to be out in the garden or on walks, so will need a home where he will get a lot of exercise. He also gains a lot from sensory stimulation.

♥️ Cooper settles well, and is extremely loving ( cuddles are his favourite thing, apart from food! ). He is well mannered when on the lead but would suit someone with some experience of handling the breed/similar as he is quite strong for a small dog - and can be keen to play when he meets other dogs when out!

When excited during playtime he is known to give out a cheeky howl! He is fun and cheeky in nature.

Homecheck required. Adoption fee. RBU provided.

Stevie is 6yrs old is still looking for a forever home after being given away by his previous owner.
Stevie is in Tameside.
🚸 Great with kids
🐶 OK with other dogs on walks
🐱 Not tested with cats
✅ Vet checked. Neutered and Vaccinated.

Stevie is a sweet boy with plenty of love and affection to give. We have no idea why he seems to be constantly overlooked.

Stevie is good with children but can be bouncy so a home with older children would be better for him.

Stevie is an active dog who enjoys walks and playing off-lead in a secure field or garden. He is good with other dogs when on walks but has never lived with other animals.

Stevie's foster family have been wonderful and he has thrived with them but they cannot keep him much longer. Stevie has been waiting a long time for a home of his own and would love to be considered for a place in your family.

RIP OSCAR
Today we lost Oscar, the elderly black Lab who's been in foster care since last year. We found out Oscar had cancer in his mouth a few weeks ago and eventually Oscar had to be helped over to Raibow Bridge today.
How I wish we had gotten to you sooner beautiful boy. His fosters Lisa and Martin are left heartbroken but knew they had to part with him. I thank them both for loving him and being with him in his final moments. Rest in peace lovely boy 💔💔💔
