What can I do for my dog in serious heat conditions???

There are plenty of activities that would benefit your dog over a walk in the heat. Mental stimulation is just as important as physical and in weather like this much more safer. -A dog has never died from missing a walk remember that!

A couple of things you could do are:
•scatter feeding - if you have a shared garden area or space in the house hide food/treats and let them use their nose to sniff them out.
•Games - find the toy/treat hiding them in places and letting them seek them or placing them under objects to let them find the right one.
• Boxes - fill empty egg boxes or cardboard boxes with their favourite treats/food and let them have a challenge of getting them out it’s fun to rip things up let’s face it 😛
•Obedience - doing some obedience or teaching your dog a new trick will get their brain working and tire them out.

Please take caution in this weather with your dogs!
A dog has never died from missing a walk but there is plenty of fatalities from walking them in heat.

I am in the process of rearranging my clients for the best interests of their dogs, their health and safety is priority.

Please note as stated in contracts :

due to weather conditions if walks can’t be rearranged or have to be cancelled 50% of payment is still required as no parties can control the weather ( as much as I wish I could keep it cool for them ) ☀️
