Just to say messenger seems to be playing up. I am unable to send messages at the moment. I assume I cannot receive messages. The hamster currently holidaying with us is well and happy, slowly getting used to Sarah. Just to reassure his owner.

Excuse the cheesy photos, but if you've followed Si's progress (Si, SiSi, Simon, Cheesepuff, he's-a-she lol) will see this is really good progress. Si has come on from being a nervous little ham, to now enjoying free roam and cuddles, not just with Sarah (the hamster whisperer) but also myself. Starting to trust others and has become a confident little ham. Happy to come out and explore and be handled.

Si loves coming out everyday and is used to being handled now, but also loves free roaming. Si is still nervous of me, but very settled with Sarah. We think Si has a lovely little fluffy skirt now.

Happy Halloween Si Si Cheesepuff 🎃

(Excuse the messy background). This little ham Sarah adopted at 6 months old, as the previous owners found him too bitey and nervous. They couldn't handle him. Sarah has owned him for about 3 months now. He was already named Simon, though we tend to call him Si Si or Cheesepuff and we think he is actually a she. SISi was initially very nervous. Gradually over time SiSi has become more confident and can be handled. Sarah is very fond of this little one. She has patiently earned his (her) trust. Just to say the previous owners really did care for Simon and made the decision in the best interests of the little ham. Oh and he (she) LOVES mealworms!
