October now and put the 744 away for the winter.
After 2 years of work that started before I had this car, it runs good, makes 16 psi, and does burnouts with a welded diff.
Somehow the auto trans will live to see another day.
It has pretty much been my life for the past couple years and its nice to see a positive result.
Don't know what power it makes, it is fun though

It rides a lot better, front end sits high hope it settles out.
Lowering springs are 1.5 inch drop
Also installed the meats

First engine build was for / out of the red wagon but had some wiring and hardware issues, so I put it in blu

Prev owner wasnt sure about mileage but thought 300k+, bores had cross hatching, crank was in spec & bearings looked almost new
-cleaned block at the car wash- had more dirt left than I wanted
-straight stone honed & ran di**le ball through
-glyco main & rod bearings
-chromoly rings gapped @ .032 & .028 I believe
-original b230f 13mm rods & pistons
-drilled 10 an turbo oil drain
-elring harm balancer
-ARP cam & aux shaft bolts

head
- mild cleanup & valve lap
-mystery cam from 244 parts car
-seals
-no head decking & elring gasket
-oem head bolts

Not expecting a lot from this setup but should do well with the 16t at 20 psi

Spent some time getting it ready for graduation later in May-Welded stock 4.10 diff-Cut 2.5 spring coils-Modded downpipe...

-Modded downpipe to 2.5 vband
-2.5 inch straight pipe w/ blast pipez -
-hydra wheels 16 x 6.5 w/ cheap walmart tires
Was loud but fun
