GREAT START FARM RABBITRY
Sales Policy
• We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a sale at any time during the sales process without warning or explanation
• All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or replacement once the rabbit has left my possession. It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm s*x, breed, color, etc. at time of pick up.
• If you can no longer keep a rabbit, we will accept it back if it is in good health. It is your responsibility to transport it back, no refunds will be given.
• To the best of our knowledge, all rabbits available for sale are healthy. Rabbits are fragile, and we cannot control their care or exposure to outside our rabbitry. We strongly recommend 30 day quarantine for any new rabbit.
All rabbits are s*xed prior to being offered for sale, and again at time of sale. The buyer is responsible for confirming s*x at time of pickup, no refunds will be offered for incorrectly s*xed rabbits.
• I do not guarantee a rabbit's show or breeding results, or those of their offspring. The buyer is responsible for ensuring that the rabbit meets their expectations prior to it leaving my possession.
We do not guarantee a rabbits mature size and measurements, as we cannot control their care after leaving. Rabbits need good care, exercise and most importantly a good diet to reach their full potential.
• Very occasionally, a bred doe will be offered for sale, or we may agree to breed a doe as part of a sale. This is a courtesy, not a guarantee of offspring. No rebreeds or refunds will be provided if the breeding was not successful.
• All pet quality rabbits will be sold without a Pedigree, no pedigrees will be provided at any point for these rabbits. They are deemed pet quality because they have a flaw that prevents them from being of breeding quality. If a pedigree is lost from a breeding quality rabbit, I will not replace it as people have tried to buy and steel lineage before.
RESERVATIONS and HOLDS
• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold a rabbit.
• If I cancel the sale the deposit will be returned, or you may reserve another rabbit.
• If the buver cancels the sale, there will be no refund of any payments made.
• Rabbits are available first-come, first served. If you want a specific rabbit, a deposit is required.
• Drop-in visits/tours are not allowed. This is a private closed rabbitry for my safety and Biosecurity. You must make an appointment to meet & pick up.
• I do not have a waiting list, kit Reservations will start at 8 weeks of age and they will be ready for pick up no earlier than 12 weeks of age.
PICKUP/TRANSPORT
• You are responsible for picking up your rabbit or Arranging transport. I may meet a transportation company to register your rabbit for delivery, but I do not deliver. Transport must be paid and arranged by the buyer.
Reserved Rabbits will be held for 2 weeks pending pickup. After holding for 2 weeks, there will be a $2/day boarding fee. If boarding is not paid for extended holding periods, the reservation is forfeited and the rabbit will be available to other interested parties.
We accept cash, Zelle, Cash app and PayPal Friends and Family. Please bring exact payment upon pick up.
Rabbits must be paid in full before being released to a transporter.
