Take 2 cups of discard, add 1 tsp of oil, your preference of salt (measure with your heart!)😅❤ now take a hot greased skillet (cast iron works great for this) and pour some into the pan, spread out thinly (like a crepe) once bubbles have emerge on the one side, flip and cook until golden brown.
*yes I know this isn't the proper way to do tortillas, but I'm a busy mom😅

We still got a bit of wire to put up, but mostly finished. The cost effectiveness of this project was great. The pallets, posts, and wire were free and repurposed, so all we paid for was staples and screws. Just a bit of hard work and determination and we got the project mostly wrapped up. We built it in such a way that it can be added onto later if need be, cause ya know chicken math🐓😂 . . . . #zookshomestead #chickenmath #farmprojects

So we have decide that removing feed and water from inside the coop was a very good decision. It creates less of a mess inside the coop, as well as forcing our ladies to come enjoy the outside. With a new run to explore, and food to seek, they come running out each morning. Here is just a bit of what happens when the door gets opened every morning😁
