Something I've been thinking about is around the time we decided not to take in anymore cats due to the cost being harder to keep up with than all these dogs because not only do they need food but we'd have to keep buying litter too, we ended up needing to catch one in a trap that I was told was abandoned and covered in wounds assumed from dog attacks.
And I don't ever wanna have to catch cats or find them wounded like that again, so only if we absolutely need to, we will take cats again.

Another reason I decided not to take cats was because of some people letting them roam free, and breeding them. I stopped taking cats to discourage people from tryna let cats run around and breed too. Luckily since then there hasn't been complaints on cats which I'm hoping people will continue to be responsible over at least their cats. So if needed, people can now reach out to me if they wanna give up their cats, I'd rather take them in again than have to catch any others

Free spays and neuters with BFK9, the rescue in Bethel is offering free spays and neuters, if needed people can borrow kennels from me (they MUST be returned as they are not mine, rescue who owns them said people may borrow long as they're returned to me), they get fixed in Bethel, then sent back to you.
"Please call or text 907-707-7010 and we can get your dog on the list we have a grant that takes care of the freight costs and surgery costs. Yes we send the dogs back home."
Please call/text Jesslyn at that number to get on the list for getting your dog fixed. If you need a kennel to borrow for their flight there and back, can text me, Rose @949-4365 or message me on messenger, for small&medium sized dogs I have kennels available to borrow now depending on when you can get your dog out, for larger dogs please wait til we can get some here which we'll start working on.

I cannot help with rides for kennel pick ups or drop offs, nor airport pick ups and drop offs so owners will need to take care of scheduling and rides themselves, I can only help with kennels for the moment

Take advantage of free spays and neuters when vets come, take advantage of free services, we should be grateful for the opportunity to get them fixed free and not have to pay, so many people keep letting their dogs run around, have and make pups then ask me to take them without fixing their dogs.
Puppies, puppies, nonstop puppies, all the time puppies. Just because there's places for you to give your pups to doesn't mean you should keep letting your dogs have pups over and over and over. Especially with all these dogs running around. That's where most of them end up, with people who just let them run around. It's tiring and expensive. Educate yourself on the advantages of getting your dogs fixed rather than what I hear all the time
"I want her to just have one litter, fixing your dog makes them fat, he'll get less protective" no. Letting them have pups then dumping them on me or giving them to people who'll let em run around to make more pups, fix your dogs.

The pups finally made it out, just wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped me out while they were here, whether it be donated food, supplies off the wishlist or money donations to get things here, there would've been absolutely no way we could keep up without you guys.

We raised enough to get a really good amount of supplies, and we can finally send them out so we don't need to rehome any of them, but now we're having trouble with the airline plus another bad storm. So no telling now when we can get them out, they ran us completely out of supplies in a week having nonstop diarrhea, turns out I was feeding them too much and now their poops are normal.

We have a good amount of tissue and paper towels thanks to people who donated, we did stock up on p*e pads but those are what's running out fast now cause they're using them and starting to try chew them up, we used everything on supplies but didn't expect to run out of any of them this soon, the packs of p*e pads here are small, only 30 in a pack, and about $20 each pack.

So what we really need now is just more p*e pads, if anyone would like to help us get some more of those, we'd really appreciate it!

We are completely out of everything I can clean up after these puppies with. Nobodys answering and I have no more options but to try give them away. Something I never had to post before, but if you get them fixed when vets come, keep them home, please take a puppy. I thought I'd be able to keep up with it but I have no more supplies, I need them out, I can't keep up with clean up, if it was just one I'd be able to but 3 is too much for me right now, and I won't be able to take in any other dogs at all until we can restock.
Ill need a written agreement you'll get them fixed and keep them home. I won't rehome unless you follow those 2 requirements. Can message me or text 949-4365, I didn't think I'd ever have to end up rehoming but I can't even afford a single roll of tissue to clean up after them with

Just a reminder that the only dogs I do take and have been taking when I do decide to take dogs, are ones that are surrendered to me by owner to send out.
I am not catching dogs or taking any that are found, most of the time I ask the dogs are able to wait at home too.
So if you're missing one or found one, I appreciate you thinking to reach out to me but to clarify, I only take dogs surrendered by owner

I've been getting a lot of complaints lately about loose dogs, dogs getting into trash, dogs chasing vehicles, dogs fighting, just a reminder that I do not catch loose dogs anymore.
People not even caring to tie their dogs up and not caring about them running around is why I quit in the first place. It never ends. I caught and caught and caught and there was still always more dogs than I can keep up with.
There was shooters, there was catchers, there was even fines being planned to be made. People still didn't care. The loose dog problem cannot be my responsibility when people don't even care enough to be responsible over their own dogs. Most people here do keep their dogs tied up and at home but enough don't that the problem seems to will never end.

Felt like I was trying to solve a problem that cannot be solved, so I appreciate people letting me know but there's nothing I can do anymore. If people would just fix and tie up their dogs, this wouldn't be a problem. Despite all the services being provided for free to try keep the loose dog problem down, as long as there's people who don't care to tie up their dogs, there will always be a loose dog problem.

We took in a total of 41 animals this year, which is our lowest year count yet which is a good thing (means our dog overpopulation count is going down!)
These are some of the most memorable, I wanna thank BFAR for taking the animals, wouldn't be possible without somewhere for them to go where they can find new homes.
And thank you to everyone who helped me this year, I would not be able to do it without help.

This dog was finally sent out, the number of dogs I'll be able to send out now will have to be limited based on the size of the dogs, I don't have big kennels, I can send out puppies, small dogs, and medium sized dogs but big dogs won't fit in the kennels I have.
If you have and dogs on the smaller side you want me to send out, can let me know and I'll see if I can hold it here or if it'll have to wait at home

What I was told this morning, people are still shooting dogs and there's still so many running around.
When something like this happens, I wouldn't be able to do anything unless I knew whose dog, and even then all I can do is suggest bringing to the vet when they come or surrendering.

Please tie up your dogs, as I said before, people are getting tired of dogs and the dogs are paying the price. This makes me sad for the dog but really mad at the owner, could've been prevented if it was tied up
