Nala got groomed today @ bathandabisquit for the 1st time here in Winnemucca, NV. She loved all the solo attention, and she looks great! She is a grandma, and all we want is for her to be happy and healthy! If that means having a shorter coat for her, then that's what we will do!

Brendon & Chanlee have been waiting since right before New Years Eve '23 to meet their sweet girl, and we were finally able to make that happen this weekend. Aurora-Blue Collar girl (Willow × Koa's God and Goddesses litter '23) went to her new home to meet with her 2 excited fur siblings! They are an outdoorsy family that I hope she will fit right in!

The Mieding family were able to come to our home earlier this week and meet the puppies. They ended up taking Hamilton (Yeti) (Willow x Koa Mythical Creatures Litter '23) home with them. 🖤 After having him for a couple of days, they checked in, and this is what they had to say, "He is awesome. So smart and so sweet. He is blending into our family seamlessly! He is bringing us so much joy!!!" 🫠
We have been extremely blessed with the best families for our puppies! We are happy they have joined the RMC family.

Did you know..... most of the time, we are able to fly a puppy to your airport? Here at RMC, we love being able to bring our own puppies to their new families! There will be times we do need to use a flight nanny, and we have some good ones, but if we can make it work, we will be the ones to fly a puppy to you!

Crate training is one of the best things you can practice with your dog. Here at RMC, we try to give the puppies a good jumpstart on crate training and potty training. Why?? This helps our puppies self soothe, take to house training quickly, and overall transition very well into their new homes.
Why is the crate so helpful with potty training?
>Pups do not like to p*e or p**p where they sleep. Selecting a crate small enough or having a divider placed inside to make it small enough where they can only turn around and lay down, they learn to start holding their bladder and bowels. We try to keep the puppies on a schedule of 2 hrs in the crate and no more than 4 hrs at night, for the first few weeks until they start getting the hang of potty training. Other important reasons to consider the crate:
>Safety and piece of mind! When you leave your house or can not keep an eagles eye on the puppy, the crate will keep them safe. Especially while they are still learning boundaries and what is safe and not safe. No one can watch a puppy 24/7 for the first few months of their lives.
>Independence. Nobody likes separation anxiety. By giving your puppy some time alone in their crate a few hours a day, they will learn to self soothe and not develop separation anxiety.
>Vet and grooming. Dogs will often be created if they need a procedure or surgery at the vet or when they are groomed. Please practice crate training at home so they are comfortable with it if/ when they need to be created in one of these other situations.
>Travel. Dogs will need to be crated during air or vehicle travel. Make it a pleasant experience by practicing at home.

How cute is Bo (was Phoenix-pink collar) with her brother Arrow!! So together = Bo and Arrow 🏹
She is doing great with her new family in CA, and how could she not be with a companion like Arrow!! 😍 Our puppies' new families have been amazing! Couldn't have asked for better! ❤️

Piper-(Jeter) from Willow × Theo 's Yankees Litter is looking as beautiful as ever! She is now 9 months old, and her moma says she still has her spunky attitude but is amazing and a wonderful companion.
