Ashton Theresa, 6 year old 13.1hh Mare. Theresa has been a fabulous paddock mate to our now two year old Warmblood but is no longer needed for that job. She is good to catch, ties up, floats, leads, has had her feet trimmed regularly, teeth done etc

A fabulous weekend away in sunny Marlborough. All the ingredients for a fantastic show. Thanks to the tireless work of the Marlborough committee in providing a beautiful venue with superb facilities and ground conditions.

Cassera MS finished 3rd in the Young Rider, beaten by Centanna II who finished 2nd in a speedy jump off!!
Cassera MS then stepped up to compete in the Property Brokers Horse Grand Prix on Sunday with a beautiful clear in the first round and one down in the second round to finish 3rd. So good to have a strong class at this level.

Centanna II also stepped up for her first Mini Prix She had one down to finish 6th. So pleased with this versatile horse….two weeks ago competing at Springston Trophy😍

AH California Dreaming just had the NZPH &A1 Equine Reproduction 7 year old class. He had one down but is looking very comfortable at this level. Being the only horse in this class he takes the win🤷‍♀️

Demietta is proving very consistent with a lovely double clear in the 110cm and one down in her first 115cm class.

Larabelle finished 2nd in the 115-120cm and then Eva and Larabelle stepped back up to compete in the AMS saddlery PGP. Again the only competitors in the class but did a super double clear. Thanks so much to the organising committee and Sarah Ching course designer for putting on these classes for the riders.

Another show this weekend at Macleans Island before a bit of a gap in the calendar before South Island champs later in November.

And just like that the Show Jumping season is underway!! After a fantastic weekend of prep at camp we headed to Nelson. For a small area they put on a fabulous show. Friendly committee, fantastic course design, ground conditions were ideal, music and commentary all adds to an enjoyable weekend and resulted in great jumping.

Cassera MS 1st in the 120 and 1st in the Young Rider. She was very happy to be back in the ring!!
Centanna II 2nd in the 120 and 2nd in her first Young Rider start.
AH California Dreaming 3rd in the 120 and clear in his first 7 year old class.

Very proud to have two horses that we’ve produced stepping up to this level, at age 18 I think Johanna can be very happy with this achievement.

Eva has also taken on a lovely young green horse, Demietta. She is 6 and by Daminos out of a Don Quattro mare. She is taking to jumping like a duck to water. Clear in the 1m and clear in the 110 champ, one down in the jump off to finish 3rd.

Larabelle was also very happy to be back in the ring jumping clear all weekend for 2nd in the 110-115 and 1st in the Pony Mini Prix.

It was great to catch up with Kelly and Daryl from Crawford Hill - Equestrian Jewellery back on Kelly’s home turf for the show.
