My beautiful people, I have come to know a wonderful, single mother that works here in Cortland. This is not her only job, however. Today her day started when she left her house for her 45 min commute here at 3:00 am. Her second job shift will end at midnight tonight. This is a typical day for her.
I was this young mother once, I understand that determination to provide. What I would like to do is give her a “Its a Wonderful Life” moment this weekend by handing her a card from the The Beautiful Souls of Wendy’s Cozy Clips with some money inside. I know we’re all crazy right now, but if anyone would like to stop by the shop before Saturday and give a little joy to this young lady, I would be so grateful.
