Perfect Piggies

We would like you to meet two very special girls. Raven (left) and Pepper (right). Raven is around 1.5 yrs old and Pepper is around 5. These girls are looking for a home where they can live out their days together.

You see, they had a home, and sadly, their human has passed on from this world due to su***de. They are currently living with a friend, but will need a forever home that will love and cherish them as much as they have been. We do not want them separated, they are all each other has left of the life they know.

These girls are gorgeous, listen well, love to play and are completely up to date on vaccinations and spayed. They do not want to share a home with other animals or young children though, they only know life as being the center of their human’s world and don’t wish to share.

They do wonderfully in the house when alone, and are house trained.

Pixie pigs are one of the smallest breeds known in the pig world ! Far smaller then a pot belly pig or an indoor Minnie ! When purchasing the perfect indoor pet make sure you have done your research , standard pigs are large animals , weighing several hundred pounds , so when someone advertises a Minnie version they could still be talking a 100-200 pound animal because it is “Minnie” compared to a large farm pig !

When I purchased my Bonnie I looked at several sites read tons of reviews watched numerous YouTube videos read tons of articles to infact make the best choice ! Bonnie came with an excellent description and information log , but also came size certified meaning the breeder knew and guarenteed she would get no larger then 25 pounds ( as long as she was fed within her means ) . Bonnie’s weight fluctuates , like most of us , in winter she tends to weigh more then summer but she does put on a thicker coat of fur as well and she doesn’t run around as much ! Bonnie has not grown in length for nearly 6/8 months now ( Bonnie is 2 years old ) the only place she grows is her belly 😊 and this is simply due to over feeding , Bonnie is a small pig , but just like any other pig they do hold true to their name they will eat all day long if you allow them and will eat anything and everything ! They never feel full their bodies have the ability to store 90 percent of what they eat into fat and muscle, hence why pigs tend to weigh so much ! So be Aware of good feeding schedule and also make sure your food and snacks are put away ! If properly cared for your going to have the best piggy ever and they will be your best friend !

Bonnie is a tiny girl and she is fed her proper portions with the expection in the winter I do add a small amount more , just because she does go outside from time to time and winters here are unpredictable but can certainly be down right cold ! I would love to share more about these amazing piggies and my love and fascination for them !
