ADOPTION DAY! Good morning, puppies! It's time to meet your new families.
The looks and sounds of puppy jealousy.
Some puppies run from the vacuum. Others run toward it. I love seeing their personalities emerge!
The puppies love their new playspace and food (see all the kibble on the floor😩). I’m working hard to wean them. It’s a JOB!!!
Look how Hazel has learned obedience and tricks!
One of the perks of raising puppies is a regular “love fest.”
I love to see the playful interactions between Daisy and her pups! Caught a cute one here.
The pups are really starting to wrestle. Watch til the end to witness Miss Gray’s superpowers!
We started transitioning to solid foods this week!
The puppies love it - as you can see. Listen to the growling in the background. 🥰
Who needs some puppy play therapy?
We are exploring a lot right now, learning to play, and starting to wrestle.
All together!
They’ve been split up into two teams for almost two weeks. I decided to put the all together for a little bit.
A pile of pups!
As the puppies get stronger, the milk battles get more intense. I keep an eye on the little ones to be sure they get enough, and so that they don’t develop any food-defensiveness.
We’ve outgrown the incubator.
Our eyes are starting to open. And…we are getting very mobile. I’m changing to deeper sleeping boxes today.
It's another great day for growing!
We're growing soooo fast! Even though we're only a few days old, we've nearly doubled our weight, and we're becoming more efficient in nursing so that everyone can get more sleep!
Reservations? If you arrive late to the party, you have to work extra hard to find a table.
Happy Monday Morning! It's so fun to see some of the puppies wag their tails when they nurse.
Newborn puppies require a lot of love and time. But it also involves collecting data, careful montoring, science, research, continual learning, and medical care. Take a look at the incubator, health chart, and supply table.
