It has been a long, hard week and tomorrow will be so very hard as well. I miss my Dad every day but it will be so incredibly tough tomorrow without him. 💔😢

We are late foaling this year but WOW 🤩 talk about worth the wait!! I REALLY was hoping for a filly this year lol but you sure can’t be upset when you get a c**t that comes out like this! Born about 9:30pm last night and I opted to let her foal in the pasture as it was a beautiful night and mama was happiest there. 😊 I have no idea where all that white came from 🤣 but I don’t think he will have any trouble getting his paint papers! Get ready for all the pics!! 😆 Welcome to the world baby (still working on a name 😊)!

Decided very last minute to go to the St Judes fundraiser show in Denver yesterday. Pulled the girl’s horses right out of the pasture and threw them on the trailer. Kymri’s mare only went to one show last year and this was Kyli’s gelding’s first show ever 😳lol so we were pretty proud of how they both handled things!

This show is just the best and supports such a great cause! Always a fun, family friendly, laid back show and we enjoyed seeing so many people that we haven’t seen in a long time! And we got to watch Lucas and Sarah Krukow show “Flash” a c**t they purchased from us as a yearling. He grew into a big, pretty 16h+ gelding and they have done such a beautiful job with him! 💕 So fun to see 3 John babies all out there showing yesterday!!!

We also got to sponsor a class in memory of my Uncle Alan Steiber who was always a big supporter of my horse addiction and is so missed. Terisa Steiber ❤️

Chase got to stop and have supper with us last night too!! Such a great day! We were all hot and tired by the end of the day but this mama’s heart was definitely full!!! ❤️

Lucas and “Flash” placed second in their Western Pleasure class and made it to the Grand and Reserve pleasure class!! This young team will be so fun to watch in the future!! 🏆 Sarah Krukow

Kylee Smith and “Rose” competed in the Senior Cowgirl Queen Contest and looked absolutely beautiful!! 💕

Flash and Rose are full siblings by Too Lazy to Invite AQHA Stallion and out of Hot Chex Chocolate. Being a small breeder is not easy but seeing our home raised babies go out and be successful for their owners is by far the biggest reward!! ❤️
