Little Talulah Bebé was soooo brave before and after her surgery for a inguinal hernia!
👩🏻‍🏫
An inguinal hernia happens when abdominal fat comes through the inguinal canal. This can cause a “constriction“, which can become very painful and cut off the blood supply to the gut!

But surgery went well and Talulah is back doing her zoomies …

With exotic pets it’s always super important to listen to the history, do a full clinical examination and get their husbandry and nutrition spot on!

Poor Kitty suffered a femoral head fracture which sometimes is impossible to repair
😢

Next best thing is to take the fractured head and neck of the femur (thigh bone) away so the fractured head is not rubbing abnormally on the pelvis causing pain
😁

Soon we will be pain free and running around as nothing has happened!
