I know a lot of people have strong feelings about reptiles, snakes in particular, but I will not be censoring here.

Hematite is an anery juvie BCC born last July. She's in a 40 gallon bioactive front opening tank for her starter enclosure and will graduate to a grow tent when she's a little bigger.

Pls excuse my messy desk - it's snack zone lol.

.I haven't updated in so long lol. I've actually gotten quite a few new snakes but many are in blue or have eaten recently so I'll just take pics as I handle them to update. I have two boa constrictors (BCC). Here is my adult true red tail, Tourmaline.

I adopted Tourmaline from a rescue and she is a young adult. Her exact age is unknown but they do expect her to get a bit bigger. She's about 7ft. I haven't been able to get a picture of me handling her because it takes both hands really but her enclosure is 7x5x2. I intend to put more branches in for climbing.

Zircon is one of my western hognoses. I have two juvenile males. He is a normal with some fancy albino genes. I got him from someone going through a breakup and downsizing. I actually contacted her about a ball python but after chatting she asked if I would like him too.

Hognoses are mildly venomous. They are rear fang venomous which means to envenomate they have to shove something into the back of their mouth and chew on it. It is not considered medically significant to humans unless you're allergic. Comparable to a bee sting. They can also be poisonous as they eat things like amphibians in the wild!

He's an angel and honestly more like my Kenyan sand boa than a hognose. He doesn't strike or cobra unless he's shedding and even then it's halfhearted lol.

My pigeons Grunt and Edi had babies! Sadly I never got bald squeaker photos, but I still got some awkward ones. One is brave and one is much more shy. The later ones were taken yesterday.

Gunny has decided my old orange man (17) is his cuddle buddy. Calcipher is super grumpy so it's amazing he's allowed this.

Just a little something I picked up in March lol. He's named after a cat my mother had when she was a teen. Gunny was a tiny hellion who would hide under beds and couches and attack ankles. At one point, he tree'd my mother and her friend on my mother's bed. My little duplicate is living up to his name.

The newest addition is Piglet. I've changed his enclosure to have solid walls since this picture and he got his wheel in the mail over the weekend.

He's a shy boy that was rehomed because he hadn't been socialized as a baby and is a hissy prickle. He uncurls for mealworms and kitty kibble tho and we're getting to know one another.

I'm so behind on pic updates! Here's pictures of my snuggle roos Ghost (mottled beard) and Spector (crested/black beard). They're about 1 yr old and I've had them since they were still possibly hens.

They're such good boys! They like to be hand fed berries and enjoy being held like this while getting cheek rubs.

A pretty pair of Toulouse geese became available from someone I've gotten chickens from locally. They've been here for a few weeks now and free range our back yard during the day. We *think* we have a gander/goose pair.
