Our hearts are heavy tonight. Devastatingly The Mediterranean sustained a significant injury and grew his wings today.

We hope all other horses caught up in the incident are okay and we send our well wishes for a speedy recovery to the three jockeys who came down.

And that’s a wrap on my first full season as a trainer. We are extremely proud of Matcha Latte’s efforts in the Carbine Club G3 at Royal Randwick yesterday. They were testing conditions and he had to do it tough to be only narrowly beaten. He’s a very exciting horse and we can’t wait to see what the future has in store for him.
