We cant recommend B&W Equine Hospital enough … here is a wonderful post about our own pony Harry who I successfully rehabbed.

It was an incredibly stressful time for us as it is any horse owner, odds where against Harry returning to competition, but we never gave up hope and we didn’t rush any part of his rehab, I’m a firm believer time and patience is the best healer 🫶

Are you having a really tough time with your horse and just need it all to stop and take some time to reset? Both of you?

Well we would love to help!

We offer horses and their owners time to stop the whirl wind of vets bills, stress, yard antics, or is it just a lack of turnout making your horse a crazy monster?, along with multiple confusing opinions, coz let’s face it everyone’s an expert the list goes on.

Here we offer kindness and support to owners reassuring them, that there is always a solution to every situation, be that physically or mentally or both, we will help you find it!

Being a horse owner should be amazing, your time to be happy, time away from the stresses of life, not something that’s affecting your health, your relationship or just your everyday happiness.

We provide a safe, calm, stress free environment for your horse allowing them time to just be a horse and the best thing is they don’t have to compromise their care or anything they are used too ❤️ they and you are our priority.

Sadly I meet too many people who wish they never bought a horse because it’s become nothing short of a nightmare, this makes me incredibly sad. These beautiful animals and our love for them is a gift, loving a horse is not a choice it’s in our DNA, it’s how we are made.

If I can help you in anyway to rekindle your love for horses, and trust in people then please don’t hesitate to contact me - I am ALWAYS on the phone to offer genuine advise and support, I have a wealth of knowledge and firsthand experience, along with a place nothing short of heaven to enjoy with your horse.

Who would of thought I’d need to be a shed builder but here I am living it 😆

8 huge new shelters ready to be cladded, designed by us, made by my amazing husband and erected as a family 🙌🏻

We are always reinvesting year on year, improving our facilities to be the best retirement you will find!

These new shelters will insure that there is a shelter in every field and paddock we have here - pretty flipping epic I’d say ! Rain or shine your horses always have everything they need 🫶 we work really hard to make your horses retirement a very happy one!

This is why I love what I do …. Resting, Retired, Rehab or just damn right screwed over, every horse deserves the best it’s just knowing how what where and when, every one is different ….. sometimes owners need some rest and rehab too to be able to overcome bad experiences along with friendship, proper professional support and shared knowledge to try again !

So happy Two Tone Toby will stay with us, he really is a very special little horse and I knew that the first day his hooves hit my yard - feeling very grateful to be trusted when trust has been broken so badly for both horse and rider - the yard he was on along with the vets advise told this owner his horse should be PTS ! 😡♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Elite Equine Rest and Retirement provides the most wonderful retirement livery with superb facilities and care, catering to each individuals requirements. We pride ourselves on home from home care at our beautuful farm with 72 acres. We offer top end retirement livery to 20 horses either full grass (herds max of 5) or with a stable on our wonderful yard for maximum luxury.
Our Fields have have huge rubber matted shelters, big hedges. Hard standing loafing areas and tracks, topped with Astro Turf to ensure no mud fever and allowing the horses to rest on a nice dry comfy surface during the winter, fed homegrown ad-lib hay/haylage in hay bars.
Yard includes huge open fronted stables, individual cctv in every stable, auto drinkers, rubber mats, hot wash bay, solarium industrial washing machines and daily turnout all year round.
Full care provided everyday of the year - your horse is our priority.
Private retirement only yard that welcomes owners to come and enjoy our little bit of horse heaven ❤️

Beautiful Bertie ….
Bert is our oldest resident (he’s the most unruly old guy😆 that gets to roam the farm)
at the grand age of 33 we think he looks rather 😍
Berts teeth aren’t quiet as good as they used to be, but with regular hard feeding throughout the day and his own special fields grown to ensure he lots of long grass he’s doing pretty well and acts more than half his age 🤩
We love you Bertie Basset 🖤 🤍 this is him last week after a lovely hot bath and degrease of his mane and feathers 🪶

This lovely girl removed her rug overnight 🙈 🌬️ but when your grass liveries look this good in February during what can only be discribed as a horse owners worst nightmare of a winter - it makes all the hard work worth it !! 😍😍😍
