Guinea pigs need a large cage, 2 guinea pigs need 10.5 square feet, 3 need 13 square feet, and 4 need 16 square feet. The shape can be square, rectangle, L-shaped, or multiple rooms connected as long as they have room to run. The larger the cage the happier they will be. Guinea pigs are scared of heights so a flat cage is best. You can build you own cage cheaply and easily, using a plastic sign material called coroplast for the bottom and wire you can bend and shape for the sides. This will allow you to design to your specifications. Or C&C cages can make custom cages for you.

Ferrets are strict carnivores, they require a diet of meat and animal products that are typically high in protein and fat, and low in carbohydrates and fiber. Ferrets have a short metabolism and need to eat every 3 to 4 hours, so keep food available 24/7. Raw meat is the best option, but they can also eat kitten food, as it has a high meat protein content, baby food that's high in meat protein, and dried ferret food that's high in meat protein. As for raw meats they can eat chicken, chicken wings, and stripped carcasses, turkey necks, rabbit, game birds, pigeons, minced beef, lamb, offal, and raw animal bones for calcium. Ferrets can also eat whole prey including mice, rats, and chicks. Foods you should never feed your ferret include, fruits and vegetables, xylitol, processed foods, dairy products, dog food, chocolate, junk food, cooked bones, grains, fish, and sugar. And never give your ferrets onions or garlic, both of these can make them sick or even kill them.

To keep your ferret happy an busy provide them with plenty of toys, exercise wheels, ramps, and hammocks. Hard plastic cat balls are the right size for ferrets. A ferret swimming pool has multiple uses, some ferrets like to wade and play in water. At other times use as a play pit or digging box. Fill with ping pong balls, strips of paper, fleece, or other fabric, hide some treats or toys in it for your ferrets to find. Bungee toys designed to hang from the top of the cage give your ferret something to jump and catch. Give your ferrets lots of chew toys, some good choices are, wood blocks, a Himalayan salt chew hung in their cage is great, chew stick bundles can be attached to the cage so they have to work to get them, and Cholla wood is excellent for ferrets. DIY toys, cardboard boxes put together and stacked with holes in them to make an obstacle course, paper bags, PVP pipe tunnels, digging box, and a sock dangling toy, take an old sock put a bean bag or small ball such as a ping pong ball, tennis ball, or cat ball in it, tie the top in a knot and hang from the top of the cage with some cord. When choosing toys always make sure the materials are safe for your ferrets. Avoid anything they can break off and swallow when they are chewing.

When buying a ferret cage always buy the largest enclosure you can so they have plenty of room to exercise and play. A pair of ferrets will need a cage 10 feet long by 6 feet high by 6 feet wide. If kept indoors you can get a tall ferret cage with solid platforms and multiple levels. Do not place in direct sunlight, and make sure it is weatherproof and draught-proof. The optimal temperature for ferrets is between 65 and 78 degrees with humidity of 40 to 70 percent. What you need for a new hamster. The cage is the most important., Hamsters need quite a bit of room. The average hamster in the wild will roam 5 miles every night. For a Syrian hamster, you need a cage at least 25" x 12" minimum. Bigger is better. Most starter hamster cages are too small. A cage you can add on to great. Bedding is needed in the bottom. The best is Aspen shavings. Nesting material for your hamster to burrow into. Paper towels and toilet paper work perfectly well as long as it is unscented. A hideout to sleep and hide in. More than one hideout is better. Preferably the hideout needs to be wooden. Plastic is not good, hamsters chew on everything. Once you have a hideout, stuff it full of nesting material. Food bowl and water bottle. In the wild, hamsters are foragers, so you can simply spread their food around their cage instead of a bowl. This will provide them with some mental stimulation since they'll need to actually look for their food. Hamsters only need a little bit of water, so the average water bottle will hold enough water for up to a week. Food, Hamsters usually don't eat very much, so feel free to buy better quality, more expensive food, it'll last a long time. A Syrian hamster only needs 2 teaspoons of food per day, a Dwarf hamster only needs 1 teaspoon per day. You cannot judge the amount you feed based on when their bowl is empty. Hamsters will stash their food. If you put in more food they'll just hide that too. Toys, hamsters are rather smart, so they need a decent amount of mental stimulation, in the form of toys. Tubes are great, you can make your own with paper towel and toilet paper tubes. As for store bought, choose things made of wood, hamsters like to chew and plastic isn't suitable. Hamsters love to run so exercise wheels are really necessary for your hamster. The best wheel is the one your hamster uses the most. Exercise ball, choose a ball that is big enough to prevent your hamsters back from being arched. Never keep your hamster in the ball for more than 20 minutes. Travel cage for taking your hamster to the vet, or if you are moving. This can also be a safe place for your hamster while you clean their cage. You should also choose a few wooden chews for your hamster. Hamsters need to chew a lot to wear their teeth down. Providing chews may limit the damage done to their hideouts and toys. Wooden chews also prevent you from needing to clip your hamsters teeth, which can be difficult.

How to equip a Leopard Gecko habitat. Remember they live on the ground so they need plenty of horizontal space. A 15 gallon gecko tank will provide plenty of space. Leopard Geckos do not climb well, but it is recommended to place a screen on top of their tank to keep insects and other pets from entering. Do not use a mesh cage these can cause injury to claws that get caught in the mesh. Next is lighting. The Arcadia 8 watt MINI UV light kit 2.4% UVB is recommended. Place this light on one end of their tank. As for heating, a reptile heating pad will need to be placed beneath the tank, it should only cover 2/3 rds of the bottom of the tank. A humidity gauge and reptile fogger
or use sphagnum moss. Ideal humidity is between 40-60%. Select a water dish and furniture like a rock or tree cave for your gecko to hide in. For the bottom of the tank newspapers or paper towels work well and to clean just roll up and discard. But there are other substrate like carpet and tile to choose. Sand is not Recommended it can cause digestive blockages. You can also add artificial plants and a background.
