We also organize greyhound related events for owners and their hounds as well as provide a support network for people interested in the health and welfare of their hounds.

HEAT WARNING: With the heat wave hitting the maritimes this week, it's imperative to keep your hounds safe and cool. Remember that greyhounds have no protection against the heat so keep them inside where it's cool and limit their exercise. Be careful of hot asphalt and walk them in the early morning or late evening💚💙

GREYHOUND WALK: Join us for a walk with your greyhound in beautiful wine country at Lightfoot & Wolfville Winery Saturday, June 29 at 10:30 am. We will meet in the parking lot of the winery and then take a walk on the Harvest Moon Trail and end back at the winery. The outdoor patio area at the winery is dog friendly. If you are interested in adopting or finding out more information about adopting an Aussie or Irish greyhound, please join us. RANGER UPDATE: Ranger is doing very well in his new home. His Dad says that he’s gotten much more comfortable in his new place and that he’s a fast learner. He’s enjoying playing with toys and getting used to all the new things in his environment, and it looks as though he's finally learned how to use a bed. Well done Ranger & family!💚

ANNOUNCEMENT: We are excited to announce that in addition to bringing greyhounds from the UK/Ireland, we will now be getting greyhounds from Australia! The first transport is due to arrive in July so get your applications in if you are interested in adopting an Aussie greyhound! Racing 2 Home has a strict selection process for the greyhounds coming here to ensure they can handle the long trip. The dogs will all have up-to-date vaccinations, recent dental, and will be health checked and behaviour assessed. A big thank you to our new partners Racing2Home! CONGRATULATIONS!! We are thrilled to announce that Pickle is adopted! His new family met him yesterday and thought he was just an amazing dog and the perfect fit for their family. McCOOL UPDATE: Mr Cool is doing awesome and is becoming a very playful lively guy. He is still a bit skittish around new people but it doesn't take long for him to warm up to you especially if you have treats. Once he knows you, he's a very affectionate guy who loves attention. He really enjoys his walks and loves to have a play session and do a few zoomies. He settles down really well once he's inside and loves napping & snoozing. If you are interested in this gorgeous guy, please contact us💚

PICKLE UPDATE: Pickle is doing very well in his foster home! He can now do stairs, he walks well on lead and loves to play fetch in the backyard. His foster family say that he is a big cuddlebear and just loves affection, pets, scratches, brushes and any sort of attention. He has been exposed to other dogs, bikes, people, and has had his nails trimmed and has done great. Not cat tested. If you are interested in this friendly & affectionate young guy, please contact us💚

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION: MR COOL (McCOOL LAD) is definitely one gorgeous greyhound! He's 3 years old and can be a bit shy at first so he needs an introduction to new things. Once he knows you, he just wants to be your best buddy. His foster mum (she's been calling him Mick) says that he's very affectionate and has met other breeds but hasn't shown any real interest in them. Not cat tested. His foster family says that he is a big cuddlebug who loves nothing more than hanging out with his family. He loves to play in the yard and will play fetch but he's also happy to just chill. His enthusiasm for life is very endearing. Whoever adopts him will have a wonderful new best friend who is just happy to be with them. Everyone needs a Pickle like this in their life. CONGRATULATIONS!! We are thrilled to announce that Galaxy Agent OZ is adopted! His foster mum says that he has fit perfectly into their lives and she can't imagine him not being there. We knew they were a match when they came to meet Oz - Oz couldn't stop wagging his tail and all the shyness he showed with other people just vanished. He seemed to know immediately that this was his family. Oz now has an older brother Watson (JJ Watts) and his new name is OSCAR (nickname Ozzie). Congratulations Ozzie and welcome to the sweet life. Please keep in touch and let us know how retired life is treating you💚

Mylie is a gorgeous 3 year old blue tripod greyhound who broke her leg and had to have it amputated after an infection set in. As you can see from the video, she's adapted to 3 legs very well.
