This mother dog was caught by the council and taken away from her baby.

At the dog pound, she got tick fever. We bailed her out but she got very sick and needed to be admitted.

Please help us with her vet (BPVC) bills, so we can save this Momma and reunite her with her baby 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

A BABY IS WAITING FOR HIS MOMMA 😭💔

A stay dog was caught by the council right before our eyes. They took the mother and left the baby behind. We immediately went to MPS in Cyberjaya and paid the fine, then went to the dog pound in Sepang and bailed her out. Unfortunately, in the few hours that she was there, she picked up tick fever. Her condition got so bad we had to admit her at BPVC. She’s yet to be discharged.

Please help us with her vet bills, so we can save this Momma and reunite her with her baby 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Probably the most gentle and caring dog we’ve ever had! He was an injured stray puppy when we rescued him. Now he’s helping to raise 4 tiny kittens like they were his own babies! He shares food, cleans them up, carries them around and makes sure they don’t wander off anywhere.

We’ve encouraged people to rescue/adopt and not buy dogs, but this is a common answer: pedigree dogs are more intelligent. Our rescued babies could prove them wrong anyday!

We’ve just rescued a mother dog and her 4 puppies that seem to be suffering from a terrible skin illness. 1 baby also has a deep cut on her thigh. We took them from the Petron station at Alpinia and we’re on the way to the vet now. I’ll update with more photos and the bill, but we’re gonna be in desperate need of funds for these sweet babies. Please contribute if you’re able to help us out. Any amount will go a long way! We’ve named mama dog Jasmine ❤️ You guys can name the babies!

True love ❤️

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!

This is Brownie Bubu. He’s a miracle child! While at the MRT station, he got into a dog fight and suffered a bad bite on his ear. None of us realised how bad the infection was inside his ear because he was behaving normal, until suddenly he couldn’t walk anymore. The infection had affected his brain and made him paralysed. We went from 1 vet to another, they all told us his condition is permanent. We finally decided to bring him home and just let him be. But who would have thought, he had other plans! Everyday, he made a little progress. Within a few weeks, we were going on short walks, which eventually got longer and his pace got faster. Everyone around the neighbourhood knew him and would stop to say “Good job Bubu” and he’d just be gleaming!

A few days before we transferred Brownie to the shelter, him and I went on our first 4km run together. He was my pacer, my motivator, my cheerleader, my reason to believe that nothing is impossible!

So much LOVE in one photo! Meet our latest rescue, Kristof Bubu ❤️

We found him in the middle of the road, just lying there not bothered about passing vehicles. Unsurprisingly, no one bothered about him also.

We picked him up and took him back to our shelter and realised something was off. So we immediately took him to the vet, who discovered a terrible ear infection. Poor child must have been in so much pain. He’s fully recovered now and has become one of our shelter babies. There’s no way he’s going back to the streets! Welcome home Kristof Bubu ❤️🏡🐶

Looking for a part-time SHELTER WORKER to care for 40+ dogs 🐶

Requirements:
❤️ MUST BE A DOG LOVER!
📅 Monday to Friday
🕰️ Roughly 3 hours a day
🍗 Feed the dogs (no cooking required)
💦 Fill up water bowls
💩 Clean poopies

Location:
Near Cyberjaya. Must have own transport as there is no public transport to get there.

We’re not joking when we say, this is our happy place! ❤️

In this photo, had just reached the shelter and was walking in the rain. Kiwi (Nivani’s little darling) wanted to be with her but didn’t want to get wet, so she cleverly positioned herself under the umbrella, and knew exactly when to walk/stop in order to avoid the rain. Why are dogs so adorable!

Now I have a set of clothes called “Shelter Baju”. The stains are becoming permanent but they’re like battle scars… you earn them from building a shelter from the ground up.

These 2 little fluffs have completed their quarantine and will be joining the other big fluffs at Humble Paw Shelter very soon! If you’ve been following us, these are the 2 puppies we rescued from Cyberjaya on New Year’s eve.

They are up for adoption on condition that:
- They must be adopted together
- New owner agrees to spay/neuter them at 6 months old
- New owner agrees to stay in touch so we can follow up and keep a close eye on the puppies

This naughty fella was one of the dogs rescued from the MRT construction site. He got his name because he loves to bite and pull people’s pants! If you’re coming to meet him make sure you wear a belt! 😂

HAPPY NEW YEAR from all of us at Humble Paw! Last night we received the best new year’s present imaginable: lights!! ❤️🏡🎉

The electricians who came to do the work were rushing to give us brightness before the new year. It was overwhelming to see the lights finally come on, after months of back and forth between TNB and contractors.

We want to thank our donors who contributed towards electricity and who are still contributing towards our RM7,000 fundraising for building works. We have raised RM3,350 so far, which we have used for the electricity.

We came across this post on Facebook and couldn’t stop thinking about the puppy, so we headed out at midnight last night to try our luck, and we were beyond lucky! We found 2 puppies huddled together under a bush. 1 we caught easily, the other was trying to bite. So took off his tshirt and we used that to finally catch the puppy. Imagine Pregash coming out from behind the bush, in the darkness, at 1am, half naked. We’re just lucky the police were not around 🤣

Both puppies are at home now and resting, recovering, eating, playing, puppying. We’re hoping to re-home them soon, so please help us spread the word and find them an amazing home 💕🏡

We’ll post again soon with better pictures and more info on these darlings. We haven’t even named them yet! Any suggestions?

Meet Vadai, the youngest baby at Humble Paw! We rescued him from a construction site at Bandar Serenia, with no mother dog or siblings in sight. A kind donor has decided to sponsor little Vadai’s monthly upkeep on top of their monthly contribution towards our rent. Words aren’t enough to convey our gratitude to our wonderful donors and supporters! ❤️🙏🏽🐾

This last weekend, we managed to get quite some done! We cemented most of the bottom areas of the fence so that the furries can’t dig their way out (a lil bit left to cement), we collected more bricks (foc! 🎉) and most importantly, we’re 90% done with the shed that will serve as our entry way as well as a rain-free area for the furries! We just need to fix up the gates and install a gutter and drain pipes for the shed to be fully functional. Once the shed is complete, our babies will move home! Fingers crossed, we completely the few things left to do this weekend!

This weekend was backbreaking but absolutely brilliant! On Saturday, we managed to source for our materials at the best prices we could get after weeks of research. On Sunday, all of our materials (zinc sheets, metal poles, sand and cement) were delivered and we started the ground work on our shelter! Unfortunately the genset we borrowed to power our tools was faulty so we went back to basics with muscle powered tools! 💪🏽 We managed to dig a trench and put up poles on one whole side of the land, and drill up two trial zinc sheets! We’re all recovering from body aches today but super excited to continue this next weekend! We’re almost there, folks! 😍 Thank you, thank you, thank you to our amazing volunteers and to everyone who has been supporting us! Even a million thank yous to our supporters and generous donors still wouldn’t suffice. Without you lovely souls, this wouldn’t be possible! 🥲❤️🙏🏽🐾

We have wonderful news! As of yesterday, we have reached our target of RM2,500 in monthly pledges for our rent! 🎉🥳🍾 Thank you to everyone who has pledged and donated, and to everyone who has been sharing our posts. Your support is bringing us so close to opening our doors! We are aiming to complete the fencing in the next couple of weeks as well, bring our furbabies home by the end of this month! We can almost see our sweet little furbabies running about and living their best lives! 😭❤️🐾

Today was a productive day! We managed to clear out all the rubbish that was left behind in our land as well as all the leaves and branches that we had collected after cleaning. We also managed to bring in some crusher run to lay as base for our storage container. Beyond that, we’re currently in the midst of our TNB and water supply application. Given that it’s an empty land, we’ve got to set up all things from scratch to make this piece of paradise a home for our straybabies! Every tiny bit of support takes us one step closer to that home! Much love! ❤️🐾🙏🏽

Here’s little Oreo’s journey:

Pic 1 & 2 - In Oct 2021, while we were doing our midnight feeds at the MRT construction site, the guard told us that little Oreo’s long bushy tail had been severed and that she was bleeding out and weak. We rushed her to St Angel Puchong only to be told that they are understaffed and the doctor couldn’t see her at least until 5 in the morning, owing to the MCO and lockdowns. So we then rushed her to Animal Medical Centre, where in spite of a long queue the doctor immediately tended to her as she was bleeding out profusely. She was put on heavy antibiotics and given blood transfusion in hopes of stabilising her. A few days later, her surgery was performed and to our relief, it was successful!

Pic 3 & 4 - After spending one month recovering at the hospital and climbing into the hearts of the staff at AMC, little Oreo was allowed to go home! We sent her back to her furfam at the MRT site since we weren’t able to get her adopted as we hoped to. Today, we’re working towards building a forever home for Oreo and her fur family with whatever funds we can scrape up from our shallow pockets.

Pic 5 - Oreo’s bill came up to RM5k and with the help of amazingly wonderful friends, family, and unknown good Samaritans, half of her bill was taken care of!

All we want is to make a tiny piece of safe paradise for these furbabies in this dangerous and cold world. Help us give them a better life. We’ve just rescued this little boy from a shop lot in IOI Puchong. He has a fractured femur and will require surgery for him to be able to walk normally again. He is currently admitted at BPVC Bandar Puteri, Puchong (Puppy’s name: Vela). Once he has recovered, we will put him up for adoption, failing which he will become one of our forever babies. He will never return to the streets again. Right now, we need your help to raise funds for his treatment. We’ve put down a deposit of RM1,000 and we’ll need close to RM2,000 for the entire treatment. After 2 weeks of treatment, they’re almost completely healed, but it will take time for their fur to grow. 2 puppies were dumped at our gate in a plastic container. They were in the hot sun and soaked in their own urine. We came here in the morning to find them panting from heat in the box. There’s only 1 thing to ask the inhumane, unethical person responsible for this: how did you even have the heart to do it??? 😭 1. The puppies could have easily died. 2. We are already overworked. 3. Big big biggg day! We brought home the first five babies today! Mama and Oreo have claimed the entire shelter as theirs but our 3 legged Piggy, Kanchi and Blackboy are still getting used to their new surroundings. Hopefully our little Terry and Brownie will join them tomorrow! Can’t believe that we’re finally able to bring our babies home. How surreal! Thank you so much, everyone! You folks are amazing! ❤️🐾🙏🏽
