What a lovely gentleman Steve was, Steve works for a volunteer therapy dog company and noticed our logo when we attended the working and pastoral dog group day at crufts.
He appreciated the work we do with dogs and proceeded to tell us all about his experience as a decoy for West Midlands police force for many years. He had the scars to match. 😬 Now enjoying his retirement with his therapy dog Sammy the Samoyed 🥰

After teeth baring, biting and being an all round demon this is what you call a balanced animal. Sat next to her decoy. A controlled dog is a balanced dog. It’s important to remember if you take a dog in to the ‘civilian world’ it must be SAFE.
has put some amazing work in to this animal. Genetics play a massive part so the work ethic is there.
But with the right guidance and training this is what you can achieve 🤩🤩🤩

The way this boy has levelled up in 4 weeks 🏆 we have not only been working on ice’s general behaviours and obedience but also conditioning to improve his overall anatomical structure and the boy has tightened up nicely with a balanced combination of feeding and exercise.
This dog has been a pleasure to work with !

Fantastic session yesterday with our trainer Lorraine, owners Matt & Alice and their two lovely dogs winston and George.
We get such a variety of breeds come to us and we thoroughly enjoy helping people to channel the energy of their breeds in to something they enjoy. As you can see winston and George are both pointer cross breeds so come from high drive gun dogs.
These guys have started to push certain boundaries and show characteristics we would expect to see so Matt and Alice sought some professional guidance.
Fantastic first session with these guys. After having experience over the years training working breeds like this to the gun and actively participating in beating it’s lovely to see dogs like this as they have a lot to give 😍🙌🏼

Well after 2 weeks residential training it was time to say a short goodbye to Venom such a well balanced young male and he really has come in to his own with consistent training, setting the foundations now for an obedient dog, with a very good future. We are looking forward to continuing venoms education as he grows and working alongside his owners in order to educate them on how to get the very best from Venom now he has a basic imprint.

Residential obedience training, venom is staying with us for two weeks and his time with us is almost up. What a difference in such a short space of time and such a lovely dog to work with. A temperament second to none 🥰😍

Lots and lots of things going on here at MK-9. Did you see our stall at the merle mania event at the Bowlers Arena in Manchester last Sunday ?? Awesome turnout. Some fantastic dogs there.
