She’s with us for a 2 week Board and Train and is doing Wonderfully!

Sweet Brooke is with us for the next 2 weeks during the day for daycamp! Daycare with a training twist!

Today we worked on basic foundation, sit, down, and stay, while also taking into mind some concerns from her pawrents, and correcting her jumping habit.

Churro is such a sweet boy.

On start he was very driven by hormone, couldn’t focus due to that drive, and on meeting Leilani (white husky) it was a struggle to keep any sort of focus.

We got the basics in, and he was neutered in hopes of calming him down for his child handler.

Today Churro had a test, this is his second meeting with Leilani, and as you can see… PROGRESS.

Way to go CHURRO! This is a BIG step in the right direction.

Silver collar from Elite European Canines is with us for his 3 week Board and Train! Just look at this gorgeous boy, his new family is so blessed, he’s got both the looks and temperament!

One of our rescue puppies, and the last of his litter mates to leave from a few months back was rehomed.

He’s now in training to help his child handler who was sexually assaulted in daycare resulting in PTSD and an inability to do much of anything on his own, even in his own home. I’m so proud of the route this baby has taken!

Ranger (aka blue collar) had his first days training today with his child handler, and as you can tell he was POOPED. Way to go little man, you have such a big job to fill, so proud of you and where you are going!

This, this is why we do what we do. Working towards independence for those young and old.

UPDATE on our sweet boy Ralphie, who we had taken in and trained after he was continuously being rehomed online due to behavioral problems.

We are so proud to be apart of something bigger, helping those who need it most so that they aswell can find their forever homes.

This sweet boy is looking for his forever home.

Pita would do best in a home with no young kids, and with a family and or older couple who don’t mind a clingy canine partner. He likes to be at your side, lounging and the constant companion in your everyday life. Pita is good with cats, and some dogs though he can be selective.

It’s a bittersweet Goodbye for this guy!

After many months of staying with us after his parents made the tough decision to rehome due to behavioral we gave them the opportunity to take back one of their two babies. Griff wasn’t the problem child, and although he’s got a few issues with alittle more work he could make them a good dog. He went through some training while here and headed out for home with his family today out of state.

Griffin would like to show off his new look.

Griffin was given to us, with his brother, due to aggressive behavior. We found that griff wasn’t the cause and only needed abit of understanding, training, and guidance. He’s been with us for several months training, socializing and working. We offered for Griff to return home to his family because we knew he was loved and had his furever home, they just needed alittle help.

With that being said griff got a haircut today as he will be returning home to North Dakota this weekend! I’m so happy we could be of help to keep atleast a portion of this family together.

We are all a little wild here 👅
With parent permission our board and trains, and rescues, got raw chicken leg!

With the acidity dogs stomachs, aswell as the shorter digestive track lowers the concerns of eating raw as they aren’t like they would be with us two levers!
If uncooked the bone doesn’t offer the worry of splintering like that of cooked bones as the heating process ruins the bones integrity!

Raw bones are Good for cleaning teeth, freshening breath, and offering great mental stimulation!
Look at these spoiled babies digging into their high value rewards.

Ralphie is enjoying the good life while in foster care.

Meet Ralphie! A 2 year old Rottweiler and field lab mix. About 65 pounds.

Pros:

Ralphie is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and is a sound dog with a beautiful drive to learn.

*Ralphie is Kenneled trained. He will kennel upon command and does not bark/whine/howl whist kenneled.

*He is house broken.

*has basic obedience. Can sit, down, stand, stay, come, wait, leave it, place ect.

Ralphie is also working on his loose leash heel. This is about 75% complete. He does need minimal corrections from time to time.

Ralphie also does well with other dogs, cats, bunnies, ferrets, chicks/chickens and birds.

He's also been around young children a handful of times and has done great.
This dog does not jump.

He can learn things in a 5-10 minute session. He's so eager.

Cons: Ralphie has a lot of energy. He will require a lot of exercise and I feel he would do best with someone that has a few acres. He's been out to the farm with his foster every weekend this month and has not ran off. He stays close by.

He can be bit hard headed when it comes time to trim his nails, he will whine and huff but it never escalates past this. And in the end his foster has been able to do his nails in about 30 minutes or so by herself.

Otherwise he is a good dog. I think he'd be great for a teenager who'd like to get a dog of their own and begin working with him. He would make an excellent trick dog.

Ralphie is located in Chanute ks.
With a rehoming fee of $100 to ensure his safety but willing to negotiate to the right family.

Rocco is learning his basics before he gets surgery on that leg!

Rocco was shot multiple years ago and never received medical care, after a vet visit we found he has pain in the leg so it’s best to remove it.

Rocco will be available for adoption after his recovery!

Vaccinated and will be neutered at the time of his leg removal aswell!

This sweet girl is learning to wait in a place hike people walk in the door so that we can cut out having to jump up on people at the door! She can see everything going on, but calms herself before being released by command out of place.

Today we added Ralphie into the play date. Shiloh and Griffin came to me with high reactivity and aggression towards other dogs. Griffin (Merle) would simply react off of his brother insecurities. As you can see here we were able to add in a dog who is known for pushing boundaries and being rough and pushy with his play. He is also much larger. So proud of these boys! Watch as they interact in a positive manner to their first meeting with Ralphie.

Did you know we train tricks as well? Obedience is fun and all but continuing that training builds a better bond between yourself and your partner! Plus it gives a good show for guests and strangers! Here Leilani is working on her ‘over’ command.

Baileys third lesson and she’s learning not to rush people at the door, and instead to keep at her placemat until called off! What a super star!

Bell, Leilani, Luca, and Lyra are all keeping down stays with distractions. Big hand for Rachel for being our fall gal! 😂

Ralphie tried to drag me off my feet just an hour before we took this video. He had no leash manners and we are learning to respond and walk politely for our handler, aswell as auto sits. Look at that focus! Ralph just wants to be the best boy and hasn’t been taught how!

Bailey is learning to hold a place, this will prevent her from jumping on guests as they walk in the door due to overexcitement. This is her first lesson on this specific command, look at her hold it with a knock to the door, door opening, and the ringing of the bell!

Sully has been working past some of his separation anxiety! Look at him go!

Sully used to be fearful of collars so his momma had to walk him on harness, resulting in her being pulled all over 🐶 Sully is overcoming his trauma with the collar and is learning to be that good boy we know he is! Way to go buddy.
