Due to no fault of her own, Vida is looking for a new forever home. Vida’s very elderly owner has had to go into long term care and Vida isn’t happy in her new circumstances.
Vida is a lovely girl who is approximately 5 years old. She is spayed and up to date with all of her vaccinations.
Vida is housebroken and crate trained. Vida is a very clean and neat girl who loves to cuddle and is one big couch potato.
Vida is very food motivated. She learns tricks quickly with treats. Vida is respectful and takes treats very gently and she sits and waits to be told when she can eat. She has completed level one obedience and is very clever and did very well. While living with us she was trained to a remote fence system and learned about her boundaries very quickly.
Vida gets along well with other dogs. She can be a bit bossy so she would do best with a dog who is confident. Vida is respectful around cats. She shares a home with a young cat and just leaves it alone.
Vida does well around children of all ages. She might be best with children over 8 as she can move quickly.
True to Vida’s Cuban roots she loves nothing more in the summer to lay out on the deck for hours in the sun.
Vida only has one eye, having lost an eye when she was young back in Cuba. This doesn’t limit her at all.
