73 dogs went through my ring today and all of them were fantastic in their own ways. Participants were equally amazing - handling dog zoomies and things going “wrong” with a smile and a sigh. That is the mark of a true dog person. Relationship always should come first and dogs could care less what color ribbon they get. 🐾❤️🐾❤️

River put in a full day with lots of new experiences. She had to tuck into a small space and remain down for hours while in a packed auditorium we people erupting in applause frequently. Other than getting antsy halfway through and needing a potty break, she did an excelllent job. We then had to navigate the packed hallway and commons and then headed to a restaurant for a dinner out. Was she perfect? Nope - she’s a baby. But, she was quiet, tolerated the chaos and did a fantastic job!

Puppy brag - on only her second day at work, River did amazing, including holding her down while several different people
came into the office. So proud of this baby; she is on the way to being an outstanding service dog.

After ordering one of these IDs for River, I began to look into what it would take to be able to make these in house. While not required, I think many schools might be interested in a product like this for their therapy dogs plus it could be a cute offering for my CGC recipients What do others think - worth offering??

Two legs complete. Our first run was ugly but got the job done. Second run was better with room for improvement, but it was nice to spend a few hours of “fun stuff.”

Registration now open for the September class. The July group was amazing but the rain moved in right at the end of class so we didn’t get pictures of the teams. 😞

Our first public outing and she did great with the typical “scary” things like automatic doors, carts, honking horns, etc. We definitely want to work on the idea that we don’t need to sniff everything but all-in-all, super proud for her first public experience!!
