I always make sure I wash my hands between massages. I do not mind getting my hands dirty, but I do ask that horses are dry prior to their massage and If they have been out in the field a brush before I do massage.

This gorgeous boy had been brushed prior 😂.

🐴Today I have massaged an absolute beauty (no pics, again no photographer 😂).

❤️Apollo is young and a fidget pants, we worked with what he could stand, part of being a massage therapist is working around the equine client and one size doesn’t fit all (so to speak). ❤️

🐴We discussed next steps and what we can build up to next time. I provided the owner with exercises and tips to help build those beautiful muscles! I have to say his pectoral muscles were amazing!! (The owner will agree 😂).🐴

🐴Tasmin is a quiet, calm rider, with so much love to give! She is wanting to do fun rides, pony club, showing and basically just enjoy ☺️, looking for 14.2 up to 15h.

🐴She is currently riding a beautiful pony who is a forward ride (my lovely friends pony), who has let Tas ride her and have lessons on her. She has recently outgrown her previous loan pony, who taught her so much. She has been jumping 70-80 and is comfortable in walk, trot and canter.

🐴A lovely home is waiting and I can promise a very loving home. I can provide videos and references. Ideally looking for a full loan to move yards but can discuss budget if for sale ♥️

🥰I got the pleasure of massaging these beauties this weekend.

⭐️I massaged Dillon last week and his amazing owners asked if I could come back after his endurance ride and work more on the areas we found needed more. I worked on the Gastrocnemius and semiten and semimem, the second visit he was definitely a lot looser and managed to really work into the stretches.

🐴Indie had been showing shorter strides, I worked along her back and hind and incorporated stretches, we have discussed routine and I’ll be back in a couple of weeks to work through those muscles some more.

♥️I don’t just develop a bond with the horses but also the owners and it’s so lovely to be able to go back and continue to work with the horses and owners.

🐴Sorry for the radio silence, I’m still working away but finding social media hard to navigate, every time I post publicly I get a lot of negative messages, people who don’t use my services and don’t understand the positive of equine massage.

🐴Im just trying to promote my services and show the positives of equine massage, which believe me are amazing!

🐴I aim to try update, promote and educate on the importance and benefits of equine massage and even got into the world of TikTok (will be handing that over to my child who is better than me 😂)

I was reading an article on when a horse has suffered trauma in the past massage can help release this and how a horse can fully relax during massage, which releases previous traumatic experiences. I absolutely adore Cracker, Cracker has the best owner and she and him are a dream team ♥️. He is so lucky to have her in his life ♥️
Cracker fully relaxes during his massage and I’m super lucky that he trusts me to do this ♥️.
I worked on his hind and back and used my fascia release tool to help those ‘sticky’ areas.
