Amelia and I both showed open today at the Diamond in the Hare show in Hillsboro. In Show B, 3Roses’/Ayers’ HORACE won Best of Breed and in Show C, 3Roses’/Ayers’ BONNET won Best Opposite S*x. This little doe is only about 12 weeks old. HORACE then went on to win 2nd Reserve in Show.

We enjoyed our day at the Love is in the Hare show in Richmond Indiana. Amelia and I both showed open to TRY to give Laura Ayers some competition, but that didn’t work so well in show B or D. In the specialty, 3Roses’ Horace won Best Opposite S*x and in Show C, 3Roses’ Biscuit won Best Opposite S*x. Congrats to Laura on winning all the rest.

We had a great day at the Central States Nomads show in Springfield. Amelia won Best of Breed in Youth shows B and C with 3Roses’ St. Stephen’s Day. She won Best Opposite S*x with 3Roses’ Pansy in Youth Shows B, C, and D. Finally, in Show C, Stephen won Reserve in Show!

Finally we have some time to reflect on ARBA convention. Amelia took 4 rabbits, all finishing in the top 10. Three finished in the ribbons (top 5). We had a really good time and look forward to next year.

We’re at the Lima Rabbit Breeders Show at Wapakoneta today. For Show A, Best of Breed went to 3Roses Pansy and Best Opposite S*x went to 3Roses St Stephens Day.

Edited to add: Pansy earned an honorable mention on the BIS table under Judge Nita Butler.

And to top off the day, for Youth Show C, 3Roses Pansy won Reserve in Show under George Larue from Virginia!!
