Thanks for the suggestion to send Facebook messages. Works!! I see posts again from people I didn't see anymore. Facebook's new algorithm chooses the same people - about 25-who sees your posts. Jan and I just got back from a quick trip to Indianapolis. Her grandson, Bradley came in on leave from the Navy.
Everyone enjoyed seeing him and having the opportunity to visit with him.
Support our service members, people. They are the reason we have freedom.
AND……we should appreciate this.
On our way home I was notified of the passing of one of my cousins.
So sad. My prayers and thoughts go out to the whole Short family during this difficult time.

I would like to request prayers for my family. Covid has hit us hard. Two of my daughters got COVID. One quarantined at home and is doing great now. The other daughter was taken by ambulance and admitted to “the Covid floor/ward bcause she also had a blood clot on her lung. She is home now in quarantine recuperating slowly. Her husband had Covid a couple of weeks before her. He quarantined at home and is doing much better.
My brother Donnie and his wife, Cindy both came down with Covid. They were admitted into the hospital. Cindy had Covid pneumonia. Was put on oxygen. She was very ill. Her body just wasn’t able to fight it. She passed on Easter morning. My brother Donnie is still in the hospital. I have spoken with him.
My heart breaks for him. If he continues to improve he might be released this week.
I ask for prayers for my family.
(I have cousins that have had Covid .)
Almost their entire family.
Covid is real people. So many people are getting so sick from this disease.
Some have issues that they will have for the rest of their life.
It’s heartbreaking. My brother did not get to tell his wife goodbye.
People, our family members, friends, strangers are dying from this!
It affects so many people in our lives.
My oldest grand daughter whom I am so very proud of. She graduated in Dec.
Has been taking college classes and is working on the Covid floor at a hospital in Nashville. She is only 18. She wants to be a midwife, ob-gyn, Dr. she hasn’t decided yet. She sees this disease every day. She helps take care of them, hoping/praying they will get better and get to go home. Some will. Some won’t.
I also ask for prayers that this disease can be gotten control of and so many people are no longer getting sick or dying.
I thank all of you that pray.
I appreciate this so much.
Prayers can be so powerful.
The Lord hears our cries.

People can’t stop your destiny. They didn’t know you before you were formed in your mother’s womb. They didn’t lay out the plan for your life. They didn’t crown you with favor. They didn’t put seeds of greatness in you. Quit focusing on who’s not for you and start focusing on Who is for you. The Most-High God, the Creator of the Universe, the One who flung stars into space, is breathing in your direction. Him being for you is more than the world being against you.
