Puppy Gemma, who had been passed around the boardwalk and had a badly broken leg and foot, had surgery on Friday. An enormous thank you to and Dr. Margie Smith for helping give this girl the life changing surgery she needed. We saw Gemma yesterday. She's in good spirits and as sweet as can be. ❤️

We want to send a heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Barneck third grade class at . This wonderful group of students sold goods to raise money for Project Minnie. They raised hundreds of dollars, helping pets of the homeless in Venice stay healthy and happy.

This beautiful one year old boy is living in a junkyard and has an injured leg from being hit by a car. .gato.rescue will sponsor him and pay for his care, but they need a committed foster. What an incredible day. joined us to provide free vaccines and exams to pets of the unhoused in Venice. The dogs and their guardians were so grateful to the amazing Dr. Margaret and vet tech Obeth. We are delighted they will be joining us monthly to help the boardwalk pups stay healthy. ❤️

We've been helping Wyatt get his painful skin feeling better for several months. We did a three month food trial, but it didn't help. He started prescription allergy medicine about three weeks ago and is doing so much better. His dad can't afford it, so thanks to our donors we are able to cover his medicine. He's looking so much better and his dad says he's much happier. Thank you for taking such great care of our dog friends.

We helped little Rocky get a cancerous growth removed about 10 days ago. We're delighted to see him healing so well. Thank you to for your incredible work, which allowed Ricky to get the care he needed. We threw in some photos of the duties we helped today. We hope they make you smile.

Today is world spay day. With nearly 1,000 animals being euthanized in LA shelters every month, "letting your dog have just one litter" is one too many.
