Project Minnie is an organization dedicated to helping feed homeless animals with homeless guardians. Food stamps and other aid can't be used to buy pet food.

For many homeless people, there only source of reliable companionship and love are their pets, but they struggle to feed them properly. Project Minnie provides food, reusable water bowls, leashes, harnesses and collars to homeless animals with homeless guardians.

This is Moose. He was found as a stray in South LA. He is bunking with our founder for a while while he decompresses and learns that he is now safe and loved. He is about 80 pounds and probably less than a year old. He isn't available for adoption yet, but will be through . Please spread the word to find him a great home.

Here are a few of the precious souls we helped on Sunday. We provided lots of flea treatments, as well as all the usual goodies. We love getting to help the pups if the boardwalk.

It was another great day at the beach. The guardian of this puppy agreed to getting her mom spayed, which makes us very happy. The other two pups are well loved by their family, but enjoyed getting new collars, leashes and food.

We met these two nuggets today on the boardwalk. They got some food and a green water bowl to match their harnesses. They are as sweet as they are cute.

It was a great day at the beach. We distributed almost 90 pounds of food and lots of supplies. .k.phillips.98 had all the good chewy treats that make the dogs happy and made fantastic lunch packages for the people. We also saw our friend old Nala who is now a senior lady and diabetic. It was was heartwarming to see her happy and enjoying being out and about. ❤️ 🐾

A very special little lady joined Project Minnie today. .k.phillips.98 has endless patience with Violet and me. Violet was such a good girl and a world-class Project Minnie ambassador. Violet was a rescue and is the sweetest and gentlest little soul. Our shelters are bursting at the seams and great dogs are being euthanized. Please never buy a dog from a breeder. There are so many wonderful dogs just waiting to be loved in shelters.

We had a wonderful time talking about Project Minnie with some very special second and third graders at Sunland Elementary. They had so much compassion, kindness and generosity of spirit. Heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Barneck for always supporting us and being the kind of teacher who we all wish kids could have. ❤️❤️❤️

It was a beautiful day and a special one because we had three old friends volunteer with us. We delivered more than 90 pounds of food and got lots of pup love. thank you for volunteering with us today.

Happy 2024! Thank you to our donors and followers for your support. We provided more than 2,000 pounds of pet food, hundreds of supplies (leashes, harnesses, collars, bowls), hundreds of flea and dewormer treatments, healthcare education to many guardians in need, and covered medical care to several sick/injured pups. We love what we do and are grateful to all of you for supporting us.

It was a hot one today, and we were giving water bowls and even water when we could. Our super volunteer .k.phillips.98 always brings the good treats. Crypto was quite appreciative. 🐾

A few of the dozen or so sweet souls we helped today. We had a lovely woman give us bracelets as a thank you. We gave out as many water bowls as we could and try to remind folks how hot it is for their furry friends. Thank you to .k.phillips.98 for being the worlds best and most reliable .

Sandy got a new leash, some food and dewormer. She is such a sweet soul. It was quite a day yesterday. We provided a lot of flea medication and the incredible .k.phillips.98 scooped up a stray we found while helping two dogs in desperate need of food.

Precious Chilly got the works, including a pretty pink harness. We helped Bebé get veterinary care a few weeks ago (mange😳). His ear looks so much better and he feels so much better.
Also, thank you to a kind man named Jack who gave us all his cash to help pets in need.

This guy is such a love bug. Thanks to our amazing donors we were able to get him to the vet and treat the nasty ear infection and face infection meant that must have been so painful. Happier days ahead for sweet Wyatt.

We haven't posted for a while (I'm terrible at social media), but we have been very busy with lots of hungry pups and several medical visits. We had a great day at the beach--it's finally warming up and more pups are out. The two in the van are new parents, so they got extra food and the amazing .k.phillips.98 offered to find them a rescue. Much like many folks on the boardwalk, their guardian said the puppies already have homes lined up. We hope it is true and that they are good homes.🙏 In the meantime, we will check on them weekly and make sure mama has plenty of extra calories. ❤️

We love these two. Chiquis got a couple small masses checked (the doctor is not concerned) and got vaccinated. Happy this little lady is still doing great at 12 years old. was wonderful and even had a Spanish speaking staff member translate. ❤️

It was great to be back out on the boardwalk after two weeks of rain. We got to visit with lots of cute pups, distribute much-needed food, several flea treatments, and lots of treats and toys.
