Black worms are rather large invertebrates, the sizes of which often reach three meters in length. Worms living in Russia are included in the order Haplotaxida. It is interesting to note that representatives of the named detachment live everywhere, but Antarctica is an exception. There is also a family Lumbricidae. It includes about 200 varieties. 97 representatives of this family live in our country.
