Collection in the morning (yes we are still collecting!), a little flatwork in the afternoon, and a hair cut in the evening. (There were no drugs involved in the making of this video). Mikado lives the life!

Im absolutely obsessed with this c**t! He is so sweet and gentle and not to mention gorgeous! I did DNA color test him just to make sure but he is buckskin.

Of course the king is the first one in the new barn! He is back in wellington for the next two weeks and available for collection. He will be back in Ocala the second two weeks of July and unavailable unless arrangements are made beforehand.

My first foal by Mikado and first homebred. Isn’t this c**t gorgeous 😍. He is out of my mare Diara Blue (diarado’s boy x chacco blue x continue). Dam is a winner up to 1.30 and the 3’ green hunters. Dam line of Balou du reventón, Balou du rouet, and chatinue. Very excited for the future!!

I don’t know about everyone else but the holidays are such a busy time. I wanted everyone to have a fair chance to turn their contacts in so I will extend the highly discounted offer through the weekend and then the stud fee is going back up. Ok ok all jokes aside. Did you know Mikado is barefoot?!?! He has been without shoes in front since June and he has been wonderful! He has great feet and is super sound, awesome qualities to pass down to foals!

We had a wonderful derby day! Highest overall first round score of 88! We were late on the change trying to do an inside turn in the hardy or we would have won! We are so close!

We got blue in the national derby today at WEC! Ok ok it wasn’t first but this color looks better on him anyways! But he put in a great first round and a super handy!

Mikado had a good first week in Ocala at the World Equestrian Center. Ribbons in almost all of his classes. He also did his first USHJA national hunter derby against great company, receiving 7th and Diara Blue with 6th! Looking forward to next week!
