This is a good website to learn more about Feral Cats.

TCAP (Texas coalition for Animal Protection) is located off Green Oaks and 360. They spay/neuter on Monday and Friday to the first 12 ferals that get there before 8 AM. One person can bring up to 4 cats in their own live trap. You have to pay $5.00 for rabies vaccination and a pain shot for $5.00 is optional but I strongly recommend the pain shot because wouldn’t you want something for pain? Be sure to cover your trap so they aren’t scared too much.

If you need help or suggestions please reach out to me with a PM. I’d be happy to help. I am in no way an expert but I have been successful in trapping 6, and I have several more harder to catch cats to wrangle.

It is very important that you make sure the door is secure once the cat is in there to keep them from escaping.

A question was asked: why feed the Ferals?
Just do not feed them And they will go away.

Answer: No, they do not go away, they just move on and become your neighbors problem. They continue to breed.

Our Lovely neighborhood is having an issue with breeding feral cats. Kittens are so cute, however they grow to be reproducing cats! I have spent a couple of years trying to get the feral
Community neutered / spayed, shots and then released back into the neighborhood. By releasing them back, this keeps others who are NOT fixed, out of this area, as cats are territorial! They are beneficial to our neighborhood in many ways. Living around so many canals and the lake, they assist with rodent and snake control. If you are willing to assist in any way please join us! More info to follow!
