Due to my sons worsening allergies I am downsizing my rattery and need to rehome most of my rats. They are all free to good pet homes. I have males and females available, they are all full grown but under a year old. They have all been handled since birth and are very friendly. I am located near Oneida, but work near Syracuse, and I am willing to meet anyone who is further away. Please contact me for information and pictures.

Sent my first three babies off to their forever home today! They have a sweet new family to love and I couldn’t be happier. If anyone is interested I have more available.

Spoiled the rats today! They got a little kale, carrot, and snap pea salad this afternoon. Cool foods are nice when it’s hot out! They always eat all the kale first. Mixed up a new batch of forage snacks with freeze dried berries and apples for the week as well. Food is enrichment, so change up thier snacks.

Tonight we tried out cooked spaghetti, this is the happy food coma aftermath. Babies will be looking for forever homes mid June.

Our last two does (Octavia and Holly) had their babies this week, both mamas are doing great as are all the babies. Tinsel and Nibbles litters are doing great, they have all ventured out of the nests and I am hoping to get updated pictures this weekend.

Tinsel’s babies are so active now! We have 4 beige, 3 black, and 9 black silvermane. I want to recheck s*x, but there seem to be a lot of boys.

Cleaned cages and added enrichment for Tinsel babies. They are testing out food, and water, have discovered the universal love of all babies, Cheerios!

No pictures yet, but my Fawn doe had her babies over the weekend. She had 16, but 2 were stillborn. She is taking care of the rest and doing well!

Tinsel went in to labor this afternoon, lots of healthy baby squeaks coming from her bin! She seems to be doing well, just letting her be for the moment. I imagine it will be a long night for her, she was huge.
