We had the State Rabbit Show in Belton last weekend, along with the TRBA Banquet. Avery was 2nd in points in the state of Texas with her Dutch. We had a great show year meet lots of new people and made tons of new friends.

It been a busy few months, but I will start with the Houston Stock Show Youth Rabbit Show. Avery showed her Polish and Dutch, we had some variety wins along with some 1st, 2nds, 3rds, and 4th places. Our big win was Best of Breed Dutch with our homegrown Tortoise Senior Buck “Abracadabra”.

We had an amazing day at the Tom Green County Junior Livestock Stock. Avery showed her Dutch and Polish rabbits, she received numerous ribbons and compliments on her rabbits. She won Grand Champion Fancy Rabbit with her Polish Black Buck, “Spruce” and Best of Best Opposites with her Polish Black Doe “Midnight”. What makes this so awesome is that “Spruce” is “Midnight’s “ Dad and she is one of our babies born and raised in our barns. We were very blessed today and glad we got to share it with family and friends! Mark Kellermeier

We have babies! So excited for our Dutch Grey Doe “Pepa” on her beautiful litter of 7! One of Californian Does also had babies, I tried to count but they were like jumping beans and I did not want to upset momma. I will try again tomorrow after she has had some time to rest. Still have 2 Polish and another Californian preparing nest boxes! (Not the best pictures but what Avery could get!)

Avery had 2 great days at the Mid Tex RBA Show in Belton this weekend. She showed Polish and Dutch, she won lots of ribbons and best of varieties with all her rabbits. Last night in Show A she had the Best Opposite of Breed with our homegrown Black Dutch Doe “Panera”. In Show B today she had Best of Breed with our homegrown Tortoise Dutch Buck “Abracadabra”. Then in Show C today she had Best of Breed with our homegrown Black Dutch Buck “Ruben”. We had a great weekend catching up with all our rabbit families.

Happy babies with full bellies! She nursed them, then they just laid like that in a milk daze! 3 colors in this mix; black, steel, and finally a chocolate!

We have babies in the barn! Croz the Chocolate Polish had 4 kits last night. Yesterday Clover the Tort. Dutch had 4 kits and Panera the Black Dutch had 3 kits. I love when we have babies in the barn!

Busy mommas building nest! Panera (Black Dutch) had 3 kits so far and Clover (Tort. Dutch) had 4. Just waiting on Pepa (Gray Dutch) who pulled fur today, fingers crossed! Some Polish on the way in the next few days.

Late Post: The last weekend of spring break we traveled to Seguin for the Alamo Area Rabbit Club “Hop into Spring” show. Avery did well with all her rabbits and she was lucky to take home 3 Best of Breeds in the 3 Shows with her Polish. We also got to hang out with Uncle Ryan.

We had another great day at the TRBA State Show in Belton. Today we just showed our Dutch and Avery had Best Opposite with her Black Senior Buck “Ruben”. The TRBA put on a great show over the past 3 days.
