Asyl out and about in the forest today. She is really getting the hang of travelling with the horses.

Here's a wee throwback to last summer when Asyl was a youngster and in training. I came across a sleepy Roe deer who was just standing in the long grass and munching and doing it's thing. This was recorded on my gopro, so it's difficult to see just how close the deer was. I wanted Asyl to see it, to see how she reacted and also to tell her to leave it. I was very pleased with how she behaved and you can even see that she sat down on her own to wait for the next command or signal from me. She also came away from the deer with me (with some encouragement) and that is important to me. Overall, not too bad for a pup 😀
