Love this message so much 💕 theres so much to love about each breed.

Saying that a dog is bred for protection, guarding, hunting, herding.. doesn't have to be seen as a negative.
In fact it can be beautiful and we should love and embrace these traits- but also acknowledge not every breed is for everyone.
.not sure I agree about the training part tho. 🤷‍♀️

If you have a rescue dog that has a bad history there is nothing that you can do to compensate for your dogs past other than waste valuable energy trying to make things better. No matter what you do you will always feel like it’s not enough. Your dog will recover easier through regular structure and routine. Your dog doesn’t care where you came from or what your history is so neither should you.
