Thank you to AGB Inc. for this special award.
In the 4 rings we competed in in the 23/24 season,
Lyanna and Katia each won 2x Best Udder and 1x Reserve Best Udder in Show. (With Karina taking the other 2 reserves)

Also thank you to Dairy Goat Society of Australia for their 24hr milk awards.
Lyanna missed her volume star by only 30g 58 days into her lactation, so I have high hopes she will follow in Louise's hoofprints and rock her 2nd lactation.
Katia only kidded a single doe kid so I expect a big improvement in her volume production in her 2nd lactation.

Lyanna has been consistently been producing 7.5%+ butterfat on her milk tests while Katia has been producing 6.5%+ butterfat.

Louise really blossomed this year as a 3 year old 3rd freshener. She received lovely feedback from judges and exciting show results, earning her AGB Inc. Australian Champion award.

She also earned her 24 hour milk award from Dairy Goat Society of Australia, proving you can be both pretty and productive 😉

It was a big week last week for our beautiful Karina, not that she realises 😅
At the inaugural Annual Show Awards for AGB Inc. We were presented with her official Australian Champion award, then she unexpectedly was awarded the Runner-Up State Champion Nigerian Dwarf for Tasmania. Considering she had a limited show season this was such a pleasant surprise.
We also officially received her milk award from Dairy Goat Society of Australia which was so exciting!
And last but not least she is my first successful attempt at AI!

After careful consideration we have decided to offer Rudi for sale.
We are keeping almost all of this lovely offspring and can't offer him the work he deserves.
He has been very successful in the show ring, accumulating all his junior points. At his last 5 outings he won Best Nigerian Dwarf Buck and finished up the show season with a Best of Breed.
With a pedigree packed with Castle Rock genetics he has a lot to offer a discerning breeder looking to produce competitive show stock.
He is up to date with all husbandry and perfect to handle in every way, including clipping, hooves, rugging, leading etc.
Transport to the mainland can easily be arranged.

Thrilled with Rudi's accomplishments this season, culminating in a Best of Breed win following multiple Best Buck of Breed awards.
He has also sired the majority of our 2023 kids, and we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the remaining offspring. We have retained one son and all of his daughters, ensuring his significant impact on our small herd.

Received a lovely phone call today, to let us know that our beautiful girl First Fleet Karina ND100 has earned her Australian Championship title with AGB Inc.
We are so grateful to First Fleet Dairy Goats for trusting us enough to part with this fantastic doe she is just delightful in every way.
