I intended to do a lot of promotion around today and unfortunately, life got in the way. It was fun to see this post though by one of my friends Rattlesnake Ranch AZ about his facility in Arizona. If anyone is nearby, I highly recommend taking advantage of this free tour. I've done much of the 2D design work in his facility so I've been able to learn quite a bit about rattlesnakes in the process. Numbers might be a bit off but I've custom designed over 80 critter labels that may be on display. Mostly rattlesnakes.

The facility houses more than 200 rattlesnakes.

I forgot how teeny tiny these L. williamsi geckos are when they first hatch. Just found this one in the parents’ tank. Luckily, I got it in time. I must have missed an egg. Anyway, this is the first hatchling from a new pair after about a 12 year haitus.

I had to give this new label its own post — it’s just too cool not to share. Over the years, I’ve created a lot of labels featuring some incredible critters, but this one truly stands out. Nicknamed the "Oreo Butt" spider, it’s not only unique but also perfectly suited for a label, since once it’s in its enclosure, it’s rarely seen again. Label made possible by the excellent photo by Nathan Miller.
