In the past we always recommended raising the food bowl to lower the risk of bloat. Studies show this can be detrimental and in fact potentially increase the risk!

The only reason you may need to raise a food bowl to elbow height is if your dog has neck/back pain. Or it is raised to nose height if they have a condition such as megaoesophagus.

Duke and Orla are here for a weekend break. Although we spent most of the day out visiting as one of my friends adores them.

Baking again here for my dogs coming in at the weekend and for the Trendy Dogs Hotel and Pet Services.
I have another appointment tomorrow with the Dentist 😫 so my dogs will go there for a short visit.
Sadly I seem to have a problem with a tooth nerve abovd my front bridge. Which sounds a lot of work and a lot of money!

My dogs happily jumped in the van this morning to go off with Laura Trengove and the gang from Trendy Dogs Hotel and Pet Services.
It’s just as important for my dogs to be able to go off with another boarder as it is for my own clients to happily arrive at mine.
Mine (especially Helly) are familiar with most of the TDH clients’ dogs so it’s nice they got to see their pals.

A bit of baking today, and my dogs like the clearing up part 😂. The two dog cakes are for the Trendy Dogs Hotel and Pet Services as my dogs are going out with them tomorrow while I attend an appointment.

There’s been something recently in the news about the transfer of salmonella between dogs and humans. This is one of the best articles I found on a quick Google explaining the risks of disease control between dogs and humans. Absolutely humans can get salmonella from dogs and vice versa.
