This little lady came home with us on Sunday. She had severe breathing difficulties so Hazel took her straight to Edda at Falcon Vets on Monday. She's been on steroids, antihistamines, and antibiotics for two days and what a dramatic difference, her breathing is almost completely clear! She's been spoiled with rice, banana, ice-cream, pasta, cheese, malt loaf, and naan bread, so hopefully she's a bit more cheery and less bitey. We'll do intros when she's settled in a bit more.

This little lady is Stella.
We were alerted to her existence yesterday and went straight to get her from a pet shop she had been returned to twice because apparently she's yet another vicious bitey rat 😡😡😡 (actually she's a little nervous of being handled by something 20 times her size, but other than that she seems to love attention and treats). She had been mis-sexed and put in with boys. She is very full of tummy, and we are expecting to see little rats any day now.
