The moment the tiger was stunned when he was released into the wild has gone viral on social media in recent days.
The tiger is said to be Kuzya (at the time of release 19 months old). The tiger belongs to the Siberian tiger line and was one of four that were released into the wild by Russia in 2014.
The first 3 tigers were released without their mothers and were captured by poachers at a young age. They have been medically checked and tagged before being brought back to the forest. The last one is an adult tigress.
Kuzya is also known as "Putin's tiger" because it was released by Russian President Putin in May 2014 (according to The Moscow Times and Siberian Times).
In October 2014, five months after his release, Kuzya was in the news again when Chinese officials discovered the fur and traces of a Siberian tiger in Heilongjiang province.
After checking the tracking device, the Russian side determined it was Kuzya. Chinese authorities have dispatched personnel to the area to remove the traps and set up more than 60 cameras in the hope of locating the tiger.
Xinhua News Agency reported that experts would be arriving in the area to protect Kuzya, and declined to disclose the specific location to the public in order to keep the tiger safe.
The Siberian tiger is considered the largest tiger species, can grow up to 300 kg and 3.28 meters long. However, illegal hunting, conflicts with humans make today's Siberian tigers significantly reduce their weight compared to their ancestors.
There are less than 500 adult Siberian tigers left in the wild. 95% of individuals live in the forests of the Russian Far East. The Siberian tiger plays an important role in both the local ecology and culture.

During an expedition in Amazon led by Dr. Laura Marsh, biologists have captured images of a very mysterious monkey. After analysis, they've discovered that this is the monkey species that had been confirmed extinct 80 years ago. This is the first time in history that this monkey species has been photographed, all the documentary before that was only hand-written and sketched.
The White-faced Saki, also known as the Guianan monkey was discovered in 1766 by a Sweeden botanist and zoologist. Ever since from 1936 to 1956, these monkeys have been found several times, but they all d.i.e.d before that. The last time someone saw Saki monkeys was in 1956 but they were just c.o.rpse.s. Since then, despite their efforts to search, they have not found any trace of Saki. Scientists thought they were extinct.
According to the image that the group of Dr.Marsh recorded, Saki monkey has a rather funny appearance with a round head, a face with thick and white fur. Their body is appeared to be muscular with a very long, bushy tail. They have the ability to move very quickly and extremely gracefully like flying, hence they are also called flying monkeys.
It can be seen that the discovery of the supposedly extinct monkey has shown that the diversity of the natural world is extremely vast. However, the question is whether at a time when hunting and deforestation are still happening, causing the habitat to shrink, will this monkey species become extinct again? The question is left to the authorities about conservation responsibility with this animal.
