Not in any kind of order, just going back and enjoying pics I took, these pics mean so much, probably will make a photo book! Dallas is my sweet boy. I was able to do two Obstacle Course races with him, he had never been in the water before the first course. He jumped in, it looked a little splashy at first, he figured out quickly how to swim, as if he knew he was in a race and off he went, as you can see him dragging me from behind😂 Best Memories! (Oh and you don’t have Dallas without Bella🐾)😂🐾🩵

Happy National K9 Veteran’s Day to all Military Working Dogs🇺🇸🐕 who have served in the past as well as who are presently serving. This picture was named “Into the Breach,” the K9 fearlessly leading the charge was named MWD Benno. (Same handler of MPC K9 Layka)
I love this representation of K9 Benno as part of his Unit, not less than but essential! So much of the way the military has to move around a hostile country is so dependant on the Nose of the Working K9’s. Their job to sniff out bombs in the ground, in cars, buildings and on persons was essential just to move from one area to another. Humans can never replicate these actions to the accuracy of a Canine. We are Grateful for their Service, Companionship, and for allowing Soldiers to make it home. They will never be seen as just a dog… they are considered a member of the unit, a Soldier. We Thank You. ❤️💙🐕🇺🇸🙏🏼
